For the eligibility of the course, one needs to fulfil the cutoff for the course set up by the institute. No reservation benefits in joining VIT. VIT charges 5000 for counselling and 1.1k for entrance.

VIT is a huge strength campus, faculty to student ratio is surely high, The course curriculum is good, Teaching depends on the faculty but faculties are ready to solve the doubts. For a sem, there would be two internal mid exams and also with quizzes and assignments. There would be one final exam at the end of sem.

Students can start doing internships from their sem 5. The selection of Internships is on basis of the grade and exams conducted by the company. The stipend varies with the companies. VIT offers internships from giant companies as well with good stipends.

Placements in VIT is really awesome. From SEM 7 onwards students are eligible to sit for placements. Many companies visit VIT approximately 750+ companies visit VIT and the number increasing year to year. Companies like Microsoft, DE Shaw, Amazon, Morgan Stanley, JP Morgan, Wells Fargo, Paypal, Cisco, TCS, Wipro, Accenture, Capgemini, Deloitte and many more core and IT companies visit VIT. The highest package recorded for 2022 batch placements is 75LPA and the Average package is 8.2LPA and the process of placements is still going. Consideration of all branches 85% and more students get placed with multiple offers.

The fee depends on the category student got for the course, the fee is constant throughout the academic period there would be no hike in fee in any part of the student academic year. only first years can get merit scholarships for their performance.

There would be a lot of exposure in VIT. There would be clubs and chapters where one can expand in the field they want to work. There would be a good encouragment in sports and extra curricular activites on the campus. There are many sports and technical competitions where students of VIT represent and many of the achievements also part of their participation. Enormous number of clubs and chapters nearly 150 gives a large exposure for the student to interact with people and get the things learnt. There are technical, cultural, Arts, Core and NGO clubs and chapters in VIT. There would be a fest called rivera every year where each club and chapter showcase themselves.

Coming to hostels there is a good infrastructure here. There is single share, double share, 3 share, 4 share, 6 share beds with AC and NON AC rooms with many blocks for girls and boys. Mostly common washrooms would be present.
