Remarks

I took admission in this college using my jee mains rank. The cutoff for Computer Science Engineering in this college is 70,000 rank. Best campus life and placement assistance as compared to other tiers 3 colleges with affordable fees.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose Computer Science Engineering because there will be more opportunities in CSE than in other fields in the upcoming years and also I had an interest in Computer Science. The faculty members are educated as well as polite, unlike other state government colleges.

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 80000 per year

Internships Opportunities

4.5

College provides internship opportunities to deserving students. There is a separate training and placement cell in college just for internship and placement. So no need to worry about placement. Just focus on your skills.

Placement Experience

3.5

The placement of this college is just average like other state government colleges 6,00000 per annum. And the highest placement in the year 2021 was 21.6 lakh which was off-campus placement and they include it in their placement data.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure of this college is 40000 per sem for Btech and the course duration is of 4 years. Also the average package of this college is 6 lakh per annum which is good as compared to other state government colleges.

Campus Life

4.5

There are different clubs in our college like sports club, music club, etc. You can join the one as per your interest. This college is having the largest campus among all the state government colleges in Haryana.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

The hostel facility is also provided here. The annual charge is Rs13000 excluding mess. The hostel campus is clean as well as ragging free. The food quality in mess is also good not like that we have seen in wen series. Lol

Hostel Fee: INR 13000 per year

Other Applied Colleges

YMCA | Btech

My rank was lower than the cutoff for cse

Good Campus, Good Learning and Overall Experience

Likes

Good campus with a lot of greenery and a peaceful environment for students.
Teachers are mostly supportive and actical classes are helpful for understanding the subjects.
Good labs, library and sports facilities with many activities happening on campus.

Dislikes

Some administrative work takes more time than expected and can be a little confusing.
Hostel and mess facilities can be improved, especially in terms of food variety and quality
Sometimes the workload and attendance requirements feel a little stressful for students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I feel the course curriculum is quite relevant and covers the important basics of Biotechnology. We get both theory and practical classes which helps in understanding the subjects better. Exams are usually moderate. I think more industry based projects and practical exposure can make the course even better. Overall, I am satisfied with the curriculum.

Best affordable quality college for middle-class

Likes

Good and well-spaced campus of the college.
Good placements with high salary packages at reputed companies.
Good, affordable college for engineering, suitable for middle-class students.

Dislikes

Poor WiFi connection at times, when too many people use WiFi at the same time.
Generator works till 11pm only at normal days.
Hostel food needs improvement, lack of quality chefs.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements after 6th semester. Numerous reputed companies offer placements, to name a few, these are HCL, Tata Consultancy Services(TCS), Wipro, Infosys, L & T, JCB, airtel, JIO, etc. The highest package to date is 27 lakhs per annum and the average package is about 6 lakhs per annum. About more than 85% of students get placed in good companies with a satisfactory package, however, good skills are required for a much higher package. I'll work hard to get a good package at a reputed company.
