Remarks
I was looking for a good college with good placements and good educational standards but under my budget and I found IIIT Kalyani after my GATE result was declared I saw the college cutoff list and I was qualifying the standards of cutoff so I applied for it through the college website I filled the admission form and after getting shortlisted I was called for Gd and PI round which I managed to clear.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum of the college is divided into four semesters and semesters touch the core concepts and the fundamentals of the coding and programing language. The curriculum provides us with a complete understanding of computer algorithms. The faculty of the college is very good. The faculty teaching methods are proper blend of traditional and modern techniques which help us to understand the complex subject in easy way.
Internships Opportunities
We have to complete a minimum of 7-9 weeks of the internship program as the internship is part of the curriculum and we can take part in intern in 3rd semester. The internship is a paid internship as according to the companies the internship stipends ranges from 25000 to 95000.
Placement Experience
The college is a new establishment but the placement packages of the college are very good. The placement offer of the college determines the education standards of the college as the average package goes up to 10 LPA and the highest salary goes up to 18 LPA which is a very good thing for a new college. The placement committee is also full of professional members and well-experienced faculty.
Fees and Financial Aid
The complete college fee including the hostel facility I around 95000 and the average salary package ranges from 8-10 LPA which is very good and the return on investment is superb. That is why I choose IIIT Kalyani. The college fee is pretty affordable so there are no individual college scholarship schemes. But if anyone wants to take an education loan the college admission department will help out in it.
Campus Life
The college provides a good environment for studies and good research opportunities are also available. The college has indoor sports facilities like table tennis and indoor volleyball facilities and many more. The college classrooms are modern and classrooms are equipped with projector screens for presentations and computers and recording equipment are also available. The library is modern and the library has many bestsellers and all kinds of books related to every department and their domain.
Hostel Facilities
The rooms are fully furnished and available for triple, double and single accommodation. The hostel has facilities like a WiFi facility, 24 hours of hot and cold water supply and power supply. The hostel campus also has sports facilities like badminton, basketball and volleyball court. The hostel discipline is maintained in a very professional way. The hostel security is also very good.
