Remarks

College management is very strict. They stick with their rules and don't want anybody to play with their rules.

Entrance Preview

VIT conducts its own entrance test. I got 17000 ranks in this institute. I got into this college by management Kota and it is not wrong at all. It is a well-reputed college with a 100% placement guarantee and I have also seen 100% placement.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

It totally depends on the student. If he is eager to learn and to do research, here faculties are very helpful and give you many opportunities for your research and also VIT funds you for all this if your idea is good. The course structure is similar to other colleges you can pass it in the one-night study.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, they do provide the internship. There is something called TIFAC which provides you the opportunity to get into a good place for your internship. We have to fill the form and according to your academics achievements if they are interested in your profile they will call you. I did not get any call.

Placement Experience

4.5

If you are from Computer science, Electronics and communication, and IT branch then you don't have to care about good packages and in very well established companies, you surely will get in. For other branches, you will get in the IT sector for sure and if you are good in the core then you can also get selected by your core companies.

College Events

3.5

There are two big events : cultural fest i.e Riviera and Technical fest i.e Gravitas. They are a very fun fest held once a year. Many students take part in various activities, events, workshops. It is very much fun for 4 days. Students from other colleges also come and celebrate our fest.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Comparatively, it is a bit expensive. If you get in with your good rank in the entrance test then it is least expensive but in management quota, you have to give double or triple the fees depending on the stream you want to pursue. But after 4 years surely you have a bright future after studying here.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, students who are not so wealthy and also topped the entrance test called star students and also get scholarships. Apart from that new ideas are always welcome here and VIT Incubator helps in funding their ideas.

Campus Life

3

They are a little biased when it comes to boys and girls. There are some restrictions for the girls on the campus. There are various clubs and chapters you can join like a dance club, robotics, debate society, and many more. There are many NGOs also you can join and help others and feel good.

Hostel Facilities

3

There is a little bit of a problem here in hostel rooms. You get the rooms here according to your marks. If you want an AC room then you have to study. Some of the blocks are older here so their rooms are smaller but new blocks have a bigger room for the same money. There are 5 types of a mess here, depends on the caterer. If you don't like that caterer food you can change it.

Alumni/Alumna

Senior here are very helpful. There is no ragging here, whether it is 1st year or 4th-year student they all treated the same.

Exam Structure

No, exams here are not that chilled out there are a lot of assignments, research papers, quiz CATs, final examinations, and a lot of things so that you will not get bored during the day. Labs are frequent and they are progressing and making it more learning than mugging things.

Faculty

3

It depends, some of the faculties are very sincere and very good at teaching and also have knowledge but some of them don't know how to teach a particular course. But they can help you in private if you are not able to understand the particular topic. All the faculties here are M.tech or Ph.D. holders.
