The admission process should get completed quick enough Usually it takes about 2-3 months after the declaration of results. What to do in this long time period. Can't even go out on vacation, because they constantly require some documents. They keep calling you to send some documents.
Course Curriculum Overview
Term exams were/are conducted every month. They are very strict about this. It occurs every first week of a month. And they give ample time to solve it. It is a mix of types of questions, viz. MCQs, descriptive, short answers, and even vivas. If studied sincerely on a regular basis, anyone can ace the exams here
Internships Opportunities
Internships are offered in all branches across all disciplines. Though the number of internships offered are less. So it is cut-throat competition to get one for yourselves. Now those who are able to bag one, gets stipend almost half of the salary they would get if the same company would have hired him. Also many goverment backed companies like PSUs also come to hire interns
Placement Experience
About 70% of the students gets placed every year irrespective of the branch. You are only required to have a better CGPA than the rest to get ahead of them in the qualifying round. Then the GD and Interview rounds come. For GD, the club's here are more than enough. As mentioned earlier, every student gets enrolled in one or the other club. And the club's day to day tasks are enough for one to prepare for any GD round
Fees and Financial Aid
I didn't get any scholarship as I never applied for any. Whereas many of my batchmates have availed scholarships. They are easy to get, as they say. And require updation of the relevant documents every semester so that you keep getting the scholarship. Some of them also keep a vigil on your per semester performance and attendance.
Campus Life
There a lot of clubs here. So much that you will find no student who is not in any one those clubs. Some are also in more than 2 clubs, but they have to manage their responsibilities likewise. These clubs are very good in providing the basic knowledge on how to work in a team
Hostel Facilities
Registration process for hostel is pretty simple and straightforward. You only have to carry a ID card issued by government and the proof that you study in the college, viz. bonafied certificate. There are a lot of halls/hostels in the campus. And all of them provide double occupation at the very least. Some even have single occupancy with attached bathrooms
