Remarks
NIT Warangal is among the first NIT established in India. The college has a variety of courses to offer I like research-oriented subjects and researching materials attract me so that is why I decided to opt for the B.Tech Metallurgical And Materials Engineering program. NIT college is popular for its engineering program and NIT was best suited me because I was able to clear the cutoff. The admission form has to fill from the college website and after that, I have to appear for the Josaa counseling after clearing the JEE exam.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum of the college is properly designed and covers all the topics from basics to advance the curriculum is fully industry-focused and helps us to understand the basic metallurgical concepts in detail. The faculty of tech college is very good and the faculty is very helpful and cooperative. The teaching methods f the faculty are very good they teach us so nicely that we are able to understand the concepts easily. The faculty mostly focuses on the practical approach of the curriculum.
Internships Opportunities
The college has a very good internship and the internship is designed very nicely but the only problem with the college internship is that the internship is optional. But during my batch, all of my classmates opted for the internship program.
Placement Experience
The NITs are the college that provides good placement opportunities and the career opportunity from NIT is very good. The placement of NIT Warangal also provides lots of good packages opportunities as the college is able to maintain a record of 100% placement. The highest placement offer of the college was around 35 LPA and the average offer was 12 LPA which is not that bad. More than 75+ companies have visited our campus for the college placement drive.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college also offers scholarships through various schemes like Institute Merit Scholarships, MHRD Scholarships, TS E-Pass Scholarships, Fee Remission. These scholarships are provided on the basis of merit, SC/ST category and financial need.
Campus Life
Our college life is full of assignments and college activities. The college organizes the fest and various events on a regular basis. The classrooms are very good and properly managed. The college also offers very good sports facilities like Badminton Court, Basketball Court, Cricket Ground, Football Ground, Tennis Court, Volley Ball Court, Hockey Ground. The college library is the best part of the college as the library has a huge books collection of more than 170000+ books which is very big and we can find all kinds of books on every topic from all around the world.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facility of the college is very good. The rooms are available on sharing and single occupancy. The hostel rooms are fully furnished with good quality furniture. The hostel management maintains very good cleanliness and proper hostel hygiene is maintained. The hostel has a sports facility as well. The water and power supply are 24 hours available.
