Remarks

I had to undergo a separate entrance test for VIT admission called VITEE The exam is probably conducted before JEE ADV and after JEE Mains. The exam level is mostly equivalent to JEE Mains or any other state entrance examinations No caste based admissions are provided

Course Curriculum Overview

The most structured at strict curriculum VIT holds. The faculties are all PhD and are really excellent in knowledge point of view May be some times you may feel the curriculum is very hectic but you will understand its results one fine day for sure Exams are conducted every 4-week gap and well-conducted even though VIT is student crowded the faculty-student ratio is best to trust me

Internships Opportunities

under internships and placement, VIT provides More than 300 companies Major of them are Microsoft,Amazon , De shaw , Morgan Stanley students are encouraged to participate in group programs and startups also VIT holds separate offices for all (entrepreneurship, research, placements )

Placement Experience

we become eligible for placements at the 7th semester of the college you can start off-campus internships at the 2nd year of your college VIT helps a lot in the Internships and placements according to the university its compulsory to perform at least one internship Placement stats are absolutely excellent the average placement is now claimed to 8.19 lakhs

Fees and Financial Aid

The university applies the tuition fees according to your VITEEE rank. there is no fee hike. the fees are the same for all four years. the best thing about vit because for other colleges there is a hike in fees every year. there are scholarships, finance helps etc available but according to university norms

Campus Life

Annual Fests include Rivera and many more. the library at VIT holds more than 2 lakh books. The physical education community arranges interesting competitions like VIT IPL etc. There are more than 500 clubs full of diversity and covers all the social aspects for a student

Hostel Facilities

the room facilities include a bed table chair storage racks etc. AC and non AC rooms are available. Mess food is good and holds a lot of variety in the menu. For hostel, we need to register to depend upon the grades (CGPA) but for freshers(1st yers ) it's just random.

Here there is no gender separation like boys and girls should be seperate and stuff like that.
It is a autonomous college so courses are changing regularly with the shift in education
Here we have relative grading system therefore there is no ranking and easy to get good grades

Dislikes

We have to pay yearly fees not semester wise it difficult for low income earning families
Money is collected from students for all events happening in the college.
There is a rush for collection of fees at the start of each year and unpaid students might face absent issues

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are moderate but i don't know much about other courses but for civil engineering the average placed ctc is 3 lakh per annum one or two students got higer package but most of the students got lower package as a fresher.

High fees the government college but charging high fees making it difficult for students from lower income background to access quality education
often have limited seats dealing to intense competition and disappointment for some students

It's like Schools .There will be special class if you didn't get much marks like schools .

Placement Experience:

From 5 th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placements. Lots of companies. The highest package is 26 lakhs and the average package is 1.5 lakhs. 98% of students get placed. Doing my best in a career as an entrepreneur.
