Remarks
Candidate must have scored 75% marks in 12th std for taking admission into Information Technology (IT).They were also considering JEE Mains percentile for taking admission.The admission generally takes place after the JEE mains exam .For taking admission in GECA you can fill the REAP form(you can fill this form from the RTU website) and there is also a direct admission round in college which is on the vacant seats available after the REAP counselling.
Course Curriculum Overview
I was interested in IT branch so I choose this course.1:40 is the faculty student ratio.The faculties have done Masters,PHD from good colleges such as IIT Bombay,IIT kanpur,MNIT Jaipur,etc.The term exams are taken timely and the difficulty of the exams is moderate.The pass percentage of the students from my branch is approx 50%.
Internships Opportunities
Only few of the students got the internships and the roles offered to them were to develop the website,app,software and in the domain such as cloud computing, UI/UX.Many Projects are given to the students such as to contribute in the college website and remove bugs and improve the interface of the website.
Placement Experience
From 7th sem. students are elegible for the placements.Tata, Infosys,1 mg,Tech mahindra,maruti suzuki,etc are hiring the GECA students from past many years.40% of the total students are placed .The highest salary was of 9 lakh rupees per annum and average salary was of 3.6 lakhs in the year 2021.
Fees and Financial Aid
My fees is 32000/- per semester and the fees do not hike that much.The cost to study is 25000 per semester which is the tution fee.Campus placements are average and average salary is 360000.Few of them got internships as well.
Campus Life
The tech fest name is Industry Academia Conclave in which many industries reach out to the campus and some seminars are organised by the college.Annual fest name is Atrangini which is organised genrally in October.Many books from different authors are available in the library.The sports combat is organised in the month of March where various games are played and the prizes are awarded to the winners.Technical club, Dramatic club,creative art society,AI/ML club,cyber security club are available in the campus.
