Remarks

The admission process is quite simple. You can take admission through your jee mains rank or VITEE conducts separate exam for it. You can directly apply also after completing your class 12th from any recognized board with PCM. You can go to their website and apply.

Course Curriculum Overview

Our college offers a variety of courses. I chose Computer Science because I always wanted to do work in a software company. In this branch, job opportunities are also more than in other branches. Faculties are highly educated and highly qualified. They have done their Mtech or Ph.D. from renowned universities. Their teaching technique is simply awesome. They are so polite and helpful.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 192000 per year

Placement Experience

Our college is good in terms of placement. Students get eligible for placement in the 6th semester. About 90% of students get placed every year. Top recruiting companies are Cognizant, TCS, Wipro, Microsoft, etc. The average package offered is 7-8 LPA while the highest package offered is 35 lakhs.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees charged by this college are extremely high. If you don't belong to a well to do family then you must have to take a loan. If you're not from a richer family then I would not recommend you to take admitted to this college. Fees are about 4 lakhs per year including academic fees, hostel, and mess fees. The scholarship is not provided by this college.

Campus Life

Our college keeps on organizing many fests and events every year. One of the most awaited events is " Adivitya"and it is conducted in April. There is a library which is fully filled with numerous books. There are many playgrounds. The overall infrastructure is very good.

An average of more than 90% of rhe students were placed during my term. Companies like amazon, juspay, adobe, hcl, cts, tcs, adp etc came and there are 500 companies that visisted our campus during my batch

Sathyabama is value for money

Likes

the classrooms in specialization are air conditioned
faculty is supportive for academic growth

Dislikes

the attendance is strict at 75% and subject attendances upto 80%
you cannot exit campus before 3.15 pm under any circumstances

Placement Experience:

The placements are very decent and they provide internships as early career opportunities as well in 3rd year of studies and the college possess high conversion rates through these internships which support the resume with actual corporate exposure

This is the best college overall

Likes

The curriculum provided is really nice and understandable.
It is relevant and is effective as well.
The boy girl ratio is on the other hand a little less as in 45:15.

Dislikes

The way some facilities behave with students is really bad especially in our branch.
Some facilities are too rude and they often don’t want to listen to students point of view

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

Placement Experience:

At 8th semester the students can become eligible for campus placement and the companies visited more oftens are win etc the highest packages about 25 LP and average packers about 2.5 lpa percentage of students getting placement is above 80 percentage.

Dislikes

High fees the government college but charging high fees making it difficult for students from lower income background to access quality education
often have limited seats dealing to intense competition and disappointment for some students
College provide only theoretical knowledge students for practical skills

Likes

The thing I most liked is the campus the infrastructue
There are a many clubs so it's exciting for people who like other things then studies
The opportunities as well the alumini network

Dislikes

The campus is very crowded there are many people compared to other colleges
The category wise fee structure and the increasing fees
Charges for hostel are little more then others

As of my information the placements are pretty decent..first the placements used to take place in Vellore campus but I guess jow they have started here as well ..as of my opinion the placement stars from the 7th semester

From 5 th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placements. Lots of companies. The highest package is 26 lakhs and the average package is 1.5 lakhs. 98% of students get placed. Doing my best in a career as an entrepreneur.
