Remarks

I got into college through GQ. Due to my cut off and my distance to the nearest best college, I opted for it and I even got into it. The eligibility of course is based on your cut-off. Follow anna university counselling updates for the application form, fees and dates.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

I chose this course based on my personal interest, later I was drawn to like the design field so I liked my subjects. The faculty: student ratio is about 30:100. The faculty is well qualified and the teaching method for problematic subjects is awesome especially I like problematic subjects so I could understand them for theory subjects, it's based on your studying capacity since the faculty can only teach and we students should only study to get good grades.

Internships Opportunities

5

I did an internship at PI BEAM ELECTRIC LABS, which is an electric cycle manufacturing company. My role was in the production and testing of the product. I was offered 10K per month. I could not continue due to the location because they relocated the company to Bangalore and hopefully they said there will be a position for me in the design field next year.

Placement Experience

3.5

During your 3rd year 6th sem, the placements take place. However, the placements are more for CSE and IT students. But mechanical students too can get placed in those fields. If you want a core job then you should have a good grade and there should be no history of arrears and for your information half of my classmates are placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is no fees hike and etc. because when we join the college they will tell the amount of the fees for each year will all the extras like hostel and bus facility if you avail them. There will be an extra charge for exam papers like 150 INR for one paper and for the symposium and for printouts. There will be some scholarships for SCs every year and for students who get good grades without a single arrear. There will be no financial assistance but they will give an extra time period for paying the fees. I also got a paid internship from outside and I was permitted to attend it. Now I am waiting for my design field job and some of my friends got placement in companies for 10K per month as intern and once they finish they will be employed in the same compant for 25K per month.

Campus Life

4

We generally conduct symposiums in various departments separately. Books are available in the library and the library books can be borrowed, however, you need to pay a fine if you dint submit it on time. There are several clubs available where I'm in the robotics club and the clubs to conduct some events. If you are interested in sports you can do it after college hours or at lunchtime, But there is no specific period for PET.

The curriculum is relevant and provides a good balance of theoretical knowledge and practical learning. It prepares students for real-world applications, but more industry projects, practical sessions, and updated teaching methods would help. Exams are generally well-spaced and moderately difficult.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because it covers important subjects related to computer science, programming, databases, networking, and emerging technologies. The combination of theoretical knowledge and practical subjects influenced my decision to choose this course. The curriculum provides a good foundation in technical concepts and programming. However, more practical projects, industry-based training, internships, and real-world applications would help students become better prepared for careers and further studies.
