Remarks

To get Admission to LPU student should complete the 12th class without any pending courses and applications form are available online on the website of lpu once reach the website and provide your number then they will guide you to complete the application and we can also find the application form in LPU regional office available in main city's of every state and there they will guide you to fill the application and also they will briefly explain about the courses and life at lpu and they will explain about how the academics at you and there no application fee we can apply for free and the dates for the applications open starts from April. And we cant get scholarships based on the phases we fill the admission. Reservations are available for handicapped students and sports background students and also available for armed students. All the process to fill out the application form is easy and verification is also an easy to process and there are no other improvements that have to be improved in the admission process.

Course Curriculum Overview

In LPU placements are very good and in particular, for CSE students there are lots of opportunities and they provide lots of placement services. Faculty are very knowledgeable persons and they will explain concepts in-depth and friendly manner and they will guide us for the better feature. Qualification of teachers are minimum they completed masters and rating for teaching is 4/5, term exams are conducted 2 times per year and we have to understand concepts in a good manner to pass.

Internships Opportunities

Companies like whatfix, josh, jp morgan, etc are mostly based on full-stack, front-end, and backend developers with an average stipend 25k. Every year we have to develop projects and we can gain industry-ready skills by building that projects.

Placement Experience

From the 6th semester onwards students are eligible for placements there are many companies visited till now like whatfix, josh technology, jp morgan. zopsmart, colrisis, niviz, atmatana, governance, etc and the package offered is more than 10 lakhs. Currently, I am in 3rd year highest package offered till now is 38 lakhs and the average package offered till now is 12 lakhs and lpu has 100% students got placement. My plans are to get good job in the product-based company.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college fee for 4 years is constant and it will not change there are no other fees we have to pay for studies and the hostel fee and mess may vary based on that particular year. We are currently 3rd year we are getting good opportunities for Jon.

Campus Life

There are lots of fests conducted every year like one India etc. and the fests are conducted every month. We have a huge library called central library we can find lakhs of books studied and we find all types of books and they also provide a library. In lpu we find different types of classrooms like BYOB etc and the infrastructure is very good. Lpu provides lots of good opportunities for sports we have a large playground and cricket ground and we have an open stadium we have a swimming pool and tennis court etc. There are lots of clubs and social groups available in lpu like spade where we can build our skills.

Hostel Facilities

In the hostel, they provide a bed chair, locker, study table, fan, and cooler and hostel maintenance is very nice and the test of the mess below average food is not that good. During the admission process, we can book a hostel, or we can book from ums also and prices are higher for middle-class students. And lots of pgs are available near lpu.

A Vibrant Campus with good learning and great opportunities

class size can be large , it helps every child to interact
academic work is quite high , the schedule may feel hectic especially during examination

The curriculum is relevant and covers core cse subjects like programing DSA and DBMS . it provides good fundamental for placements and further studies , more practical projects and industry based teaching would improve it .

Companies start coming summer internships in the 5th and 6th semester though ,CG cuts are imposed so very less students are elgible to sit for these companies, The real placement season is 7th and 8th semester and many companies visit campus for placements. around 60 percent students got placed in the recent placement drive. The major recruiters are: Oracle, CISCO, JPMC,Deloite,IBM,ZS etc.

There are 1 AC Lecture complex()LT with almost a seating capacity of 100-120 students, with smart screens and projector.
NITJ has well maintained 4 Girls hostel and 4-5 boys hostels with proper cleanliness and hostel staff.
They are 7 cafeterias in the Campus, including 3 Nescafe outlets,1 dominos and 3 regular canteens that serve food late night.

Dislikes

Wifi and connection issues in the hostels
Slow response to emails and late approval to applications
The ICE department faculty is quite strict. Tough grading system and administration.

Placement Experience:

NITJ has a placement cell, also known as the Centre of Training and Placements(TPO office of NITJ). The placement scenes differ depending on the courses offered. The average placements are 12-14LPA in the Computer Science branch. Every year, hundreds of companies, including Pvt and govt both. PSUs like HPCL and BPCL recruit students based on merit and academic excellence.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I’d rate the curriculum like 7/10 in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness — it covers all the major CSE subjects like DSA, OS, DBMS, CN, AI, ML, Cloud, Cybersecurity basics, etc., and honestly that was one of the reasons I chose this course because at least the core subjects are solid even if PTU keeps some old-school stuff in the syllabus. The curriculum does prepare you for real-world stuff, but only to a point — like, if you focus on coding labs and projects you’ll be fine for internships, but if you depend only on classroom theory then it won’t help much because industry wants hands-on skills. For higher studies also it’s okay because theory depth in subjects like OS and DBMS is decent enough. But yeah, improvements are definitely needed — some subjects feel outdated, teachers should use more practical examples, and we need more real projects instead of copy-paste lab manuals; also some faculty teach directly from slides which gets boring fast. Exams come twice per semester (sessionals) plus the final end-sem around December/May; they’re mostly easy if you write long answers, but tricky if you rely only on understanding because PTU likes theory-heavy questions. Overall, the system works, but it could be way more practical and industry-focused.

The campus is very green and clean. Infrastructure is good and one can feel fresh air here in campus
The faculty is excellent, almost all of the professors and assistant professors have a degree from renowned institutes. So they know their subject and field very well.
Hostels are good and affordable. Although the hostels itself are old, services are good and you get a nice room for the price/rent

Dislikes

The crowd isn't good. Always demotivated to do anything productive regarding studies. Some people are just here for time-pass
Very less site and outdoor visits. For practical experience, they should conduct industrial visits, but that happens rarely
Placements are really Dry and there is decline in company visits for placement.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.
