Remarks

The eligibility for this course is that you should have cleared your 10+2 Standard with more than 65% marks with Physics and Maths as your Subjects. To get admission here in this course, you will have to apply and clear the VITEE (Vellore institute of Technology Entrance Exam). The application fee is 1100 Rupees and forms are out from november to May. Reservations are available for SC and ST candidates.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is Computer Science Engineering, so it is a 4-year Undergrad professional Course. the future scope in this course and feild is high which is why I have chosen this course to continue my career. The faculty and Student ratio here is 1:40 Students. The teachers are mostly Ex-IITians with Decades of years of Experience. The exams are conducted Semester Wise in btech and are of moderate difficulty level.

Class Size: 65Course Fees: INR 124000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The Fees here depend on the rank that you have got in the VITEE exam. If you baged a good rank, then your fees will definately be waived more and you will have to pay less, but after gettinf an average rank, you will still have to pay aaround 120k Rupees per year of college fees. The Scholarships are availble for students who are either eaconomically weak or are very brilliant in their studies.

Campus Life

The campus of the VIT vellore branch is really amazing. The infrastructure is good with well-built Architecture and the locality is clean. The college has a library which is for all the students from all the courses along with teachers. The college focuses alot on Sports for Students, many Inter and Intra college Sports events are organized every year for the students.

The placements are very decent and they provide internships as early career opportunities as well in 3rd year of studies and the college possess high conversion rates through these internships which support the resume with actual corporate exposure

Here there is no gender separation like boys and girls should be seperate and stuff like that.
It is a autonomous college so courses are changing regularly with the shift in education
Here we have relative grading system therefore there is no ranking and easy to get good grades

Dislikes

We have to pay yearly fees not semester wise it difficult for low income earning families
Money is collected from students for all events happening in the college.
There is a rush for collection of fees at the start of each year and unpaid students might face absent issues

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are moderate but i don't know much about other courses but for civil engineering the average placed ctc is 3 lakh per annum one or two students got higer package but most of the students got lower package as a fresher.

High fees the government college but charging high fees making it difficult for students from lower income background to access quality education

Placement Experience:

From 5 th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placements. Lots of companies. The highest package is 26 lakhs and the average package is 1.5 lakhs. 98% of students get placed. Doing my best in a career as an entrepreneur.
