Remarks

If you want to take admitted in the Vellore Institute Of Technology then the minimum eligibility criteria are you have to complete your class 12th with PCM from any recognized board. Our college accepts score cards of JEE Mains and VITEEE. Then you can apply for admission.

Course Curriculum Overview

I've chosen Computer Science Engineering because I have a great interest in software and job opportunities are also more in this sector. Faculties are very educated and qualified. They have completed their Mtech or Ph.D. from renowned universities. Their teaching method is awesome and simple. Semester exams are moderate and one can pass easily.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 316000 per year

Placement Experience

Our college offers excellent placement. Students get eligible for placement from the 6th semester and got placed in the 7th semester. About 94% of students get placed in the CSE department. The average package offered is 6 LPA while the highest package offered is 42 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Wipro, Mahindra, Amazon, etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

Vellore Institute Of Technology is a private college. My course is B.Tech and it is 4 years course. Fee charges for the full course is 7.5 lakhs. I've not chosen a hostel. Our college provides scholarships on a merit basis.

Campus Life

Our college keeps on organizing many fests or events from time to time like tech fests, dance fests, sports fests, etc. There are many playgrounds like basketball courts, volleyball courts, cricket grounds, etc. The library is big and I am filled with lakhs of books, journals, and magazines. Classrooms are big and full of digital. Projectors are available in classrooms. Labs are equipped with new equipment.

Here there is no gender separation like boys and girls should be seperate and stuff like that.
It is a autonomous college so courses are changing regularly with the shift in education
Here we have relative grading system therefore there is no ranking and easy to get good grades

Dislikes

We have to pay yearly fees not semester wise it difficult for low income earning families
Money is collected from students for all events happening in the college.
There is a rush for collection of fees at the start of each year and unpaid students might face absent issues

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are moderate but i don't know much about other courses but for civil engineering the average placed ctc is 3 lakh per annum one or two students got higer package but most of the students got lower package as a fresher.

Placement Experience:

From 5 th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placements. Lots of companies. The highest package is 26 lakhs and the average package is 1.5 lakhs. 98% of students get placed. Doing my best in a career as an entrepreneur.
