Remarks

The overall experience in the admission process was pretty good. The admission process was held over 1 to 2 days. Seniors helped us through the process. Since there was a huge crowd during admission it could have been better if everything was more organized.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

I chose the course because I found it quite interesting which is eventually proved over time. The faculty is to student ratio was 10:28. The faculty members were pretty qualified as they had done their doctorate degrees and well makes us understand things easily. I like the way they used to teach. The university used to organize exams timely and it was not very difficult to pass the exams.

Placement Experience

4.5

Companies Infosys TCS ITC visited our college and we got the opportunity to get placed in those companies. Around 80% of the student get placed from our college as job opportunities given by them. Most of the packages of those companies are offered by 2 lacs. I had plans to pursue higher study which I am doing right now.

Fees and Financial Aid

Initially, the course fees were 23000 but it got hide to 26000 during the second year of my study. I used to get State level scholarships, named oasis of over five thousand each year. We were provided opportunities by the college to be hired by companies after the completion of the course.

Campus Life

4

We got to attend two fests in our college life which occurred in the middle of September named udaan. We had a great experience in our college fest. We had two libraries in our college. One is a departmental library and one is a central library and the libraries contained sufficient valuable books. Some of our master's classrooms had air conditioners in them. We had a great opportunity to participate in extracurricular activities during our college days that was held in the season of winter.

Placement Experience:

People who major in my department usually opt for masters over placement not because of this college but because overall industrial or academic opportunities are better with a pg degree. Masters from this college is not recommended as i have heard so from my seniors. Some of my seniors managed to crack competitives and secure MSc seats at great places. Training and Placement cell had a good coordinator previously but now its almost non existent. Companies do come and hire Bpharm, Mpharm and MSc candidates. Packages are below average. Only Nestle pays well. But if you do well you'll eventually climb up the corportate ladder. From the time i am here i have not heard of any BSc candidate getting placed. Most go for higher studies.

Placement Experience:

The average package offered for such roles ranges between ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package offered to a BSc student is around ?4 LPA, depending on skills and specialization. Overall, around 15–20% of BSc students get placed through campus drives, and many students rely on off-campus opportunities.

The course is very relevant as it provides us an overall knowledge of biology and not dividing it into various sections rather giving us an insight of every aspect of biology. It includes everything such as microbiology, zoology, botany, physiology, molecular biology and so on.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Completely relevant. As the college is autonomous it has its own syllabus. Which matches with the net gate jam exam syllabus. When someone came our college for seminar they strange that we know this much. Exam are quite difficult in 2 months interval.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum was well thought out as per me but there were subjects that i found absolutely unnecessary. Subjects like history evs and clc were in no way related to my course. Coming to the main subjects Design, Printing, Photography and film and Media Training were absolutely necessary for my course and whilst the faculty for some of these subjects were really bad, some were good. It is also important to mention none of these subjects actually helped us prepare for the real world. Instead internships and freelance helped us more than these subjects could ever do. Exams were held bi monthly to keep track of what we learnt and every 6 months we had our semester exams. Overall if you want to be a media professional INTERNSHIPS AND JOBS WILL HELP YOU MORE THAN A COLLEGE WILL. I am biased on this opinion as my college didnt provide me with the correct guidance and support i needed to make it in the real world.

In case of computer science department, placement is provided at the Last year of M.sc course. Many companies like Wipro, b10x, Tata visited here. Highest package ever is three lakh per annum. 20-40% of the students got placement after completing M.Sc computer science. My plan after B.sc is to pursue MCA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

* It's all about practical knowledge, we are getting from this course and another aspect is if you wants to make your career in research or lecturer then you should go for it. *No changes required in teaching methods but if college will provide hostel facilities and campus requirement drive, then it will better for candidates.
