Remarks
I wrote viteee, it is an entrance exam conducted by vit for admission to its 4 campuses. I secured a rank of 6846 which helped to get cse in vit Vellore (main campus) comfortably. Any rank below 12000 can easily get cse in Vellore campus. the fees category might differ.
Course Curriculum Overview
The student ratio is okay at vit. There are 18-20 boys hostels and 6-8 girls hostels. This explains the student ratio. All teachers are Ph.D. holders in vit. Though only a few live up to the hype. the term exams are quite difficult but we can still pass easily.
Internships Opportunities
I am not really sure about the roles we get offered or the stipend we receive as I am yet to graduate and still haven't gotten to the stage where I have to go to an internship. This concludes my review of vit vellore.
Placement Experience
From the 3rd semester, we are eligible for campus placements. More than 550 companies visit vit every year to recruit students. Companies like Google, Amazon, Infosys, etc visit vit to recruit students to work for them.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees in vit are very high if you get a bad rank in viteee. There are 5 categories of fee structures which give given according to the rank you secure in viteee and the course you select. The fees range from 2 lakhs to 5 lakhs per year.
Campus Life
Vit provides all kinds of sports and extracurricular activities. Vit has become a hub for self-development and improvement throughout the years. Vit has 2 annual cultural fests both of which are massive events organized with huge budgets. Vit also has a massive library with more than 10000 books.
Hostel Facilities
The room has a bed, a table and a chair. The rooms also have a shelf for every student . The registration process for hostels is pretty annoying. If you are 10 mins late to registration, all the aur conditioned rooms get filled and you have to take non ac room
