Remarks

The application form would be on VIT's official site. The exam would be comparatively easier than JEE MAINS. The rank you get marks the category you can apply for the respective subject. For example. Rank: 9000. You won't be able to apply for Category 1 Computer Science cause people with lower ranks have already taken it up. Categories are basically fee structures ranging from 1 to 5.

Course Curriculum Overview

Faculty and curriculum depend on the system of FFCS. The fully flexible credit system. If you are lucky in the first come first serve system, you can get good teachers and the subject of your choice. Exams are generally easy since your faculty chooses questions from what they've taught.

Placement Experience

Placements are quite generous. With super dream package, this year going up to 26LPA. Almost 100% placement rate. And the average package is around 5LPA. Placements won't be an issue if you keep up with interviews.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship and financial assistance are enough given. With proper reasons and guidance, a student can easily opt for what they want. Recruiting is almost to a 100% rate so there is nothing to worry about.

Campus Life

There's a library of 6 floors, a dedicated building. Running out of study material won't be possible. As for clubs and groups, over 100 clubs and chapters to choose from with extremely helpful seniors. When it comes to extracurricular activities, swimming, gym, karate etc are there to apply for and choose from.

Hostel Facilities

Facilities for hostel rooms depend on which room you opt for. PG systems are unclear to me, but for freshers, day boarders aren't allowed. Hostel affordability is pretty viable, cause of the fees for different amenities. Hostel with AC 3 bedded might be around 40000-50000 while the same in the apartment-style building will be from 50000-60000 including the admission fees for 2 months.

Here there is no gender separation like boys and girls should be seperate and stuff like that.
It is a autonomous college so courses are changing regularly with the shift in education
Here we have relative grading system therefore there is no ranking and easy to get good grades

Dislikes

We have to pay yearly fees not semester wise it difficult for low income earning families
Money is collected from students for all events happening in the college.
There is a rush for collection of fees at the start of each year and unpaid students might face absent issues

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are moderate but i don't know much about other courses but for civil engineering the average placed ctc is 3 lakh per annum one or two students got higer package but most of the students got lower package as a fresher.

From 5 th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placements. Lots of companies. The highest package is 26 lakhs and the average package is 1.5 lakhs. 98% of students get placed. Doing my best in a career as an entrepreneur.
