Remarks

The admission process was smooth. I went through a screening process where my academic details were verified. I didn't give any entrance exams because of coronavirus. To be eligible for B.E CSE, you need to have secured at least 60 percent in the 12th board exam. You can contact the university for the application procedure and any extra detail that you want.

Course Curriculum Overview

The teaching faculty are great and knowledgeable and the teaching style is the same as in other colleges. There are a lot of research opportunities provided to students so that they can become familiar with those aspects too.

Internships Opportunities

There are a lot of internship opportunities provided to the students. A lot of companies recruit students during their third year of college. The stipends offered to the students range from 25000 to 100000.

Placement Experience

The placement stats are amazing with a record 100% placement last year. More than 300+ visit the campus. The prominent ones are OYO, Amazon, Google, etc. I plan to get placed through campus placement during my third year.

Fees and Financial Aid

For BE CSE, the course fee per semester is 82000. Initially, for the first semester, students are required to pay 92000, the extra 10000 for chalk pad. There are no hidden fees. There is no hike policy as there is no annual fee hike. Also, there is no scholarship.

Campus Life

There is an annual fest named Chitkara fest. The library has a vast collection of books with over 1lac+ books and a lot of online resources. The classes are well ventilated and fully assembled with AC. There are a lot of opportunities for people who are interested in sports activities. The university has 1 football ground and 1 Futsal ground along with 1 cricket ground. There are also a number of student-led groups.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel is the best thing about the university. The rooms are well furnished. Every room has four tables, and 4 almirahs one for each student. The food quality is great and each day has different. The registration process for a hostel is paired with the course registration process. I am currently living in Armstrong hostel.

PEC is great choice

Placement Experience:

placements from rti report placement percentage is over 75 + and in ee its 74 percent cse 93 and ece 84 percent avg for cse is 18 lakhs and ece is 16 lakhs ee its 14 lakh and other branches have 8 10 lakh avg but the placemnt percentage in mechncial is 70 percent other branches like civil production have a little less percentage of placements but they have opportunities in college

In our college students need to have 6CGPA to still in campus placements and our college have a Club that overseas all the placement oppertunityies and the placement starts from 7th semester onwards when students starts there seventy semester the company's starts visiting campus for placement and internship opportunity as well

Placement Experience:

Yes,very good college placements are available in our college.Students of 8 semester that is 4th year students are eligible for campus placement Companies such as TCS,wipro,amex,gemini solutions and etc many more companies are there for placement 60-80% students got placed in the companies with an average package of 8 lakhs and with a highest package of 35 lakhs Iam oriented towards govt jobs and in future if I will be interested in coding sector I will do preparation for off campus and specifically for Rubrik

Placement Experience:

Placement do occur in the college. It's average package is around 7.5, lakh. Since I am the first year right now, I don't have data to support the placement record, but some of my seniors of fourth year are getting placed. One of my IT senior got placed for 14 LPA and other other, my Cse senior got placed for around 12 LPA. so opportunities are there for those who want to do something

Placement Experience:

We have avergae package of 12 lpa and 57lpa highest, i am not aware of how mqny placed. As such i have plan to get placed but if things didnt go out as planed then mba or mtech maybe. Our campus just opened recently so there is no much information but our placements are central that means, companies visting mumbai have to visit us too, and u can refer mumbai campus placement for our campus because its counted on central level and not varries campus to campus

Honest insider review - Chitkara University, Punjab

There was no such entrance exam sort of thing. they were just expecting a minimum percentage in the boards examination that too was very low to be honest. i didnt found such difficulty for the admission process as i had scored good marks in the 12th board. The application form was available on the official website of the university. The fees has been increased the last time i toook admission. It took 162,000 for 1 yr of college fees. No reservation benifits were availed by me being a GENERAL. Overall, the admission process was easy i found no diificulty. Although, they can improve the communication hrough the intermediater who accepted my form and took me thorugh the admission process. as it was online, i found some difficulty in communicating with themaslso havinng some misunderstandings with them.....Read More
