The admission is through Wbjee or Jee mains rank. The cutoffs are available on the college website or any other website such as collegedunia.com For 2021, The cutoff for CSE via wbjee ranked as 12.2k, for IT, it was 20k and for once it was around 27k. Reservations are there for TFW seats and Sc, st quotas.
Course Curriculum Overview
The faculty are helpful and provide notes and other materials as and when needed. All the faculties have completed their master's or PhD. from reputed colleges across India. The internals are taken by the college but the end semester exam by the University the college is affiliated to - Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of technology.
Internships Opportunities
The internship opportunities provided by the college are after the 5th/6th semester. The students try to get internships from the 2nd year onwards by learning new skills. The roles in which internships are offered are SDE, analyst, jr. developer, etc.
Placement Experience
From the 6th semester, the students are eligible for the placements. The highest package offered last year was by Amazon at 32LPA and the average package is around 5LPA. The placement is mostly pool conducted with the other colleges of the Techno India group so a lot of countries visit the campus.
Fees and Financial Aid
The first semester fees are? 79800, and the second-semester fees are? 65000, and from the third to eighth, the fees are? 56500 per semester. Tfw seats are also there but the cutoff for those seats is different. Other states and central govt scholarships are accepted as well.
Campus Life
The annual tech fest is conducted by the official tech club of the college named phoenix. It is conducted sometime in the winter. Apart from this, there are departmental fests taking place namely more zen for ECE, inception for IT, melange for use,sriti for biomedical engineering, sambhar by any, etc. The library is well equipped having a lot of books and a reading room. Other social clubs such as gods, Rotaract, etc. are also active college clubs.
Interview Experience
No Gd or private test or interview were required during the admission process Only the rank of Wbjee 2021 was required for the admission.The counseling result and the process was conducted completely by WBJEEB.
