Remarks

Eligibility for admission is required minimum 60% in the 12th. We had to fill the form online on the Chitkara's official website(chitkara.edu.in). Application fee was 1100Rs. Admission process was so easy. So I don't think there should be any more improvement in the admission process.

Course Curriculum Overview

Actually I have a dream and I'm interested coding so I choose this course. Faculty is so good , ratio is about 5:2. Most of the facilities have PHD degree and they have a good experience of teaching. They always try to meke us understand in a easy and technical way. Difficulty of exam is ok.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 164000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Amazon, Adobe, Byjus like big companies and some good companies offered students for intership here. Most of the Students get 30-35k per months for intership. After 4th sem companies provide offer for internship.

Placement Experience

Mainly from 5th semester students become eligible for campus placement and Internship. Many companies like Amazon, Adobe, Byjus, OLA, Infosys, TCS, vipro and many more companies visited. Highest package is 1.11CR and the average Package is about 7.5 LPA. 80-90 percente of students placed every year.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee of college is not too high it's 82000 per semester. Which is affordable for a middle class family. And there is no any better college in North India at this fee. Also the placement and average Package is really amazing.

Campus Life

Campus Life is awesome. Every months there is a dj night for us so that we can enjoy. There are so many technical clubs available inside the campus. There is a big library where we can find any type of books. Every type of sports facilities are available . And extra curricular activities like dancing, singing, comedy and freedom to do what we want. IEEE, ACM, BNB, GDSC and happiness club and many more clubs are running by students for students.

Hostel Facilities

Facilities like bed, studing table , light, cooler, almirah, chair and free WIFI 24*7 provide in the room. Meal quality is so good and healthy. Registeration for hostel is available online and offline both. Fee of hostel is affordable.

PEC is great choice

Placement Experience:

placements from rti report placement percentage is over 75 + and in ee its 74 percent cse 93 and ece 84 percent avg for cse is 18 lakhs and ece is 16 lakhs ee its 14 lakh and other branches have 8 10 lakh avg but the placemnt percentage in mechncial is 70 percent other branches like civil production have a little less percentage of placements but they have opportunities in college

Life at Panjab University

In our college students need to have 6CGPA to still in campus placements and our college have a Club that overseas all the placement oppertunityies and the placement starts from 7th semester onwards when students starts there seventy semester the company's starts visiting campus for placement and internship opportunity as well

Placement Experience:

Yes,very good college placements are available in our college.Students of 8 semester that is 4th year students are eligible for campus placement Companies such as TCS,wipro,amex,gemini solutions and etc many more companies are there for placement 60-80% students got placed in the companies with an average package of 8 lakhs and with a highest package of 35 lakhs Iam oriented towards govt jobs and in future if I will be interested in coding sector I will do preparation for off campus and specifically for Rubrik

Placement Experience:

Placement do occur in the college. It's average package is around 7.5, lakh. Since I am the first year right now, I don't have data to support the placement record, but some of my seniors of fourth year are getting placed. One of my IT senior got placed for 14 LPA and other other, my Cse senior got placed for around 12 LPA. so opportunities are there for those who want to do something

Nmims Chandigarh for btech review

Placement Experience:

We have avergae package of 12 lpa and 57lpa highest, i am not aware of how mqny placed. As such i have plan to get placed but if things didnt go out as planed then mba or mtech maybe. Our campus just opened recently so there is no much information but our placements are central that means, companies visting mumbai have to visit us too, and u can refer mumbai campus placement for our campus because its counted on central level and not varries campus to campus

Honest insider review - Chitkara University, Punjab

There was no such entrance exam sort of thing. they were just expecting a minimum percentage in the boards examination that too was very low to be honest. i didnt found such difficulty for the admission process as i had scored good marks in the 12th board. The application form was available on the official website of the university. The fees has been increased the last time i toook admission. It took 162,000 for 1 yr of college fees. No reservation benifits were availed by me being a GENERAL. Overall, the admission process was easy i found no diificulty. Although, they can improve the communication hrough the intermediater who accepted my form and took me thorugh the admission process. as it was online, i found some difficulty in communicating with themaslso havinng some misunderstandings with them.....Read More
