Remarks

The admission process was pretty smooth. I applied through TNEA counseling. The admission process took me about a week. You have to apply through the main office, once you've applied they'll contact you within a week or two based on your marks. Once that's over you can finalize your admission on the day that they call you.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

The exams were placed at regular intervals of time. None of the exams were placed too early nor too late. The difficulty of exams were moderate for most subjects. The conductions of exams were up to scale and disciplined.

Internships Opportunities

5

During my second year of study, I came across atleast 4 or 5 internship opportunities attend. The most formidable of them was extempermedia which had a stipend of 5000 rs per month while interning there.

Fees and Financial Aid

I didn't have any scholarships myself. However, the college provided multiple scholarships for various people and made sure they did their best to financially assist many students to a good extent. Internships were also provided as opportunities to earn and pay your fees.

Campus Life

5

The college had a considerable amount of clubs including niche ones like horseriding clubs, women's coding clubs, etc. Apart from these co-curricular clubs are also available such as football, badminton, and so on.

Placement Experience:

SSN College of Engineering has a strong placement record, which is one of its biggest draws for students. Here’s a detailed overview of SSN’s placement statistics, key recruiting companies, support for employability, and pathways for students after graduation. Placement Highlights 1. Placement Statistics: SSN consistently achieves a high placement rate, often exceeding 90% for eligible students across departments like Computer Science, Information Technology, and Electronics & Communication Engineering. The average salary package is typically around 4-6 LPA, with top offers going up to 15-20 LPA from companies in tech and consulting sectors. 2. Top Recruiters: SSN has a strong placement cell that partners with prominent recruiters, including Google, Microsoft, Amazon, TCS, Cognizant, Infosys, Wipro, Deloitte, and Zoho. While tech companies dominate placements, companies from sectors like consulting, finance, and core engineering also recruit from SSN, making it a diverse opportunity pool. 3. Internships at companies like Amazon, Microsoft, and Zoho give students valuable real-world experience. SSN encourages internships as part of the curriculum, helping students build practical skills that boost their employability. 4.
