Remarks

Eligibility for admission is required at a minimum of 60% on the 12th. We had to fill out the form on chitkara's official website chitkara.edu.in .application fees were Rs1100. The admission process was so easy so I think no need for improvement to be done in the admission process.

Course Curriculum Overview

I had a dream and I am interested in coding so I chose this course. Faculty members are very good and most of the faculties are having Ph.D. degrees and have good experience in teaching. The difficulty of the exam is ok.

Internships Opportunities

Facilities like bed, electric cooler, studying table, almirah, chairs, free 24*7 wifi provide in the room. Meal quality is quite good and healthy. Registration for a hostel is available online and offline both.

Placement Experience

The campus life is awesome. Every month, there is a DJ night which is very enjoyable for students. there are many technical groups on the campus. Every type of sports facility is available. There is a very big library where we can find different types of books.

Fees and Financial Aid

Our college has good links with various esteem companies like Amazon, Google, Adobe, IBM, Wipro, Infosys, etc. Most of the students get 35-40 k per month in an internship. After the 5th-semester companies provide offers for internships.

Campus Life

Mainly from 5th-semester students become eligible for campus placements and internships. Many companies like Amazon, Adobe, byju's, ola, Infosys, azure, and many more companies visited. The highest package is 1.11 Cr.

Hostel Facilities

The fee of the college is moderate i.e Rs82000 per semester which is affordable for a middle-class family and there is not any other good college in North India at this fee. Also, the placement and average package are great.

PEC is great choice

Placement Experience:

placements from rti report placement percentage is over 75 + and in ee its 74 percent cse 93 and ece 84 percent avg for cse is 18 lakhs and ece is 16 lakhs ee its 14 lakh and other branches have 8 10 lakh avg but the placemnt percentage in mechncial is 70 percent other branches like civil production have a little less percentage of placements but they have opportunities in college

In our college students need to have 6CGPA to still in campus placements and our college have a Club that overseas all the placement oppertunityies and the placement starts from 7th semester onwards when students starts there seventy semester the company's starts visiting campus for placement and internship opportunity as well

Yes,very good college placements are available in our college.Students of 8 semester that is 4th year students are eligible for campus placement Companies such as TCS,wipro,amex,gemini solutions and etc many more companies are there for placement 60-80% students got placed in the companies with an average package of 8 lakhs and with a highest package of 35 lakhs Iam oriented towards govt jobs and in future if I will be interested in coding sector I will do preparation for off campus and specifically for Rubrik

Placement Experience:

Placement do occur in the college. It's average package is around 7.5, lakh. Since I am the first year right now, I don't have data to support the placement record, but some of my seniors of fourth year are getting placed. One of my IT senior got placed for 14 LPA and other other, my Cse senior got placed for around 12 LPA. so opportunities are there for those who want to do something

Placement Experience:

We have avergae package of 12 lpa and 57lpa highest, i am not aware of how mqny placed. As such i have plan to get placed but if things didnt go out as planed then mba or mtech maybe. Our campus just opened recently so there is no much information but our placements are central that means, companies visting mumbai have to visit us too, and u can refer mumbai campus placement for our campus because its counted on central level and not varries campus to campus

Honest insider review - Chitkara University, Punjab

There was no such entrance exam sort of thing. they were just expecting a minimum percentage in the boards examination that too was very low to be honest. i didnt found such difficulty for the admission process as i had scored good marks in the 12th board. The application form was available on the official website of the university. The fees has been increased the last time i toook admission. It took 162,000 for 1 yr of college fees. No reservation benifits were availed by me being a GENERAL. Overall, the admission process was easy i found no diificulty. Although, they can improve the communication hrough the intermediater who accepted my form and took me thorugh the admission process. as it was online, i found some difficulty in communicating with themaslso havinng some misunderstandings with them.....Read More
