Ramaiah University is best in class

A minimum of 50% is required for admissions here. The university also conducts an entrance test and only then one get admission here. Everything was available online on their website as the entrance form, and date, and everything was provided there. The entrance exam is online so one can sit in their home and give the entrance exams. A minimum of 50% is required in the entrance in which the questions from 11th and 12th are asked. So, admissions can be done from your home as i went to the college only after admissions.

Total number of faculty for our course is 8-10. The same set of professors teach in the entire three years. Some of the faculties are CA, some have done M. Com and some with MBA degree from some of the top B-Schools of the country. We have two seemster exams every year along with two internals. Exams were always on schedule as the university follows there schedule accordingly.

Mostly CA firms and companies like Flipkart, and Amazon provide us internship opportunities. We are asked to work in their accounts department with a stipend of 2000 to 5000 depending on the skills of the students.

Placements of B. Com are good as around half the students get placed directly through campus. B. Com students gets placements worth 4-5 lakhs per annum. Companies like HCL Tech, Amazon, Google, and some CA firms here the B. Com students. My plan after doing B. Com from here is to do MBA and the college is helping us out in preparing for the entrances too.

The university conducts scholarship exams and those who clear that gets 100% scholarships. The students with domicile of Karnataka gets 5-25% fees concession depending on the rank they have scored in the entrance. The university also has an army quota and the students from such background gets fees waiver of 5-10%.

Our institute is a part of extended Ramaiah campus. There is a hospital inside the campus, a special dental hospital, a nursing clinic. Almost all the buildings of the university has their own library and there are a total of 6 number of buildings inside the campus. There are four canteens inside the campus and four playgrounds. There are many events happening in the university and the biggest of them is Kannada Rajutsava.
