Remarks

In Reva everything is good, and the infrastructure is outstanding. People from different states join here. I had joined through kcet exam, so my fee was less compared to the management seat. For management, it costs 4,00,000 per year for b.tech in cse. admission process was smooth and easy.

Course Curriculum Overview

Exams are kind of dependent on how you study, I would say that they are moderated. There will be 2 internal assessment tests, 30 marks each then they reduce it to 15 each. Finally, we will have the Semester end examination which will be quite a tough one. faculty is very nice and educated and teaches very well.

We have to do 2 projects for our degree. Our clg will fund them mostly. One will be a mini project and one major project for 8th sem. Mini project will be on 5th and 6th sem and major on 7th and 8th sem

I'm in my first year, I don't know much about the placement there. But, what i heard is placement is good in Reva especially for school of cse, More than 2k people got placed in companies this year though pandemic was there.

Fees and Financial Aid

I wrote kcet exam and opted for this college. Reva has its own entrance exam called Reva cet. They provide 2 lakh scholarship by clearing this exam, many of my friends availed this scholarship and they are benifitted from this

Campus Life

There are many social clubs, science clubs, dance clubs, its clubs,s, etc. It is compulsory for a student to join any one of the clubs by paying 200rs. Every weekend there will be an event from the club, the conduct many hackathon,s etc

A great place for learning and career growth

Placement Experience:

Excellent placement training and reputed companies visit the campus. I had received offers from three companies which reflects the quality of opportunities available. Placement is one of the college's biggest strength. Student with no backlog and good academic records will get easily placed.

My life at CMR - University

Course Curriculum Overview:

The aspects like: we had 2 internal exams in the semester and after completing these internal exams roughly at the 5th month we had practical exam + end semester exams, these exams would be mainly theory based inclusing some conceptual based questions & based on our understanding only, we can able to write the answers. One thing, I would suggest was we shall give more weightage to the practical based learning, that too during our days we were just the beginning of AI & Iot era was effectively going on, if we had some advanced eductaion covering these aspects we would have got the opportunity to shine more in our carrers. As a student, we faced slight diffuclities and challenges matching the real-life happenings with the acdemics, that would be one of the shortcoming I can say.

My campus life so far

Course Curriculum Overview:

I feel the curriculum is well planned, balanced and easy to follow. We start with the basics and along with theory there's a good amount of coding practice, assignments, and hands on learning. I like that the course isn't just about passing exams, it also focuses on building skills that will be useful later for internships and placements. So far it feels relevant, practical and not overwhelming for someone who's just starting out.

One of the best colleges or universities for B Tech and pocket friendly

Placement Experience:

The College was there for more than 10 years , but there was only Post graduate courses available , like M-tech , Msc , etc. The College for B-tech has started just before 2 years , there are no batches which has been output till now. The students are also waiting to see the batches to get output and see the placements taking place. As a student I am also eager about the campus placements.

I applied to MS Ramaiha, Jain College, NITTE in Mangalore for food technology, biotechnology and biomedical science respectively.
