Remarks

Need to score 60% of marks in 10th and 12th board exams. The application forms and details regarding the fees can be refereed from the main office of the campus or from the official KCG College of Technology website.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

Faculties in our college are very helpful, highly qualified, knowledgeable, and have years of experience in their respective fields. They would always welcome students if they have any doubts. They are very friendly to the students and their teaching methods are very easy to understand. Even slow learners can easily follow their teachings. The curriculum is based on Anna University as this is an Anna University affiliated college and its degree is rightly respected all over India. The college makes us industry-ready by the time we finish college. The semester exams are pretty difficult and need hard work to get good marks but it is easy if you attend the classes on a regular basis. The faculties not only teach us but also guide us.

Internships Opportunities

5

Our top recruiters are TCS, CTS, Virtusa, Gavs, and Zoho. The roles offered by them are software developer, software engineer, full-stack developer, data analyst, data scientist, software tester, mobile app developer, etc. Internships are offered with a stipend of 15k per month.

Placement Experience

5

Almost 95% of the students were placed in our IT department. The highest salary package offered in our course is INR 12 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is INR 2 LPA. Our top recruiters are TCS, Virtusa, CTS, Gavs, and Zoho. Our college has a good placement cell that provides training right from the beginning of the first year regarding aptitude, technical skills, soft skills, etc., and a specialized pre-placement program in the third year which makes them industry-ready. Some students got a stipend internship while studying in their second year. Many students are offered internships from reputed companies in the third year.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is lower compared to other colleges under Anna University. It takes around INR 4L to complete the overall course in this college. Many scholarships are offered to students based on certain criteria. Some students got a stipend internship while studying in their second year.

Campus Life

5

Our college has a high-class infrastructure. Each department has its specialized laboratory and the computer laboratories are fully air-conditioned. All the laboratories are well equipped with the latest computer systems and high-speed internet connections. It has a central library with many numbers of books from various authors. The library has a book bank scheme in which the students are provided with the required books for each semester. Good Wi-Fi connections are available all over the campus. Transportation, Hostel facilities are very good and wifi connections are provided free of cost to the hostel students. Students feel safe in the hostel. The food provided in the canteen is of good quality and is sufficient enough for an individual at a lower cost.Apart from that, playgrounds for sports like volleyball, basketball, and football are also available.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because it covers important subjects related to computer science, programming, databases, networking, and emerging technologies. The combination of theoretical knowledge and practical subjects influenced my decision to choose this course. The curriculum provides a good foundation in technical concepts and programming. However, more practical projects, industry-based training, internships, and real-world applications would help students become better prepared for careers and further studies.
