NSEC review

I have taken admitted to this college through the counselling process of WBJEE. The counselling took place in 2 rounds and one Mop-up round. According to my rank, I have been selected for the IT department which I wanted. After selection, we were invited to the college for further admission process.

I am very much interested in the field of technology so I have opted for this course in my college. The average class strength is 60 students in each section. All the faculty members are very well educated from the very known institutions like Jadavpur University, Kolkata. Every teacher gives their 100% to make us understand every topic. They are very caring and always welcome every student if they are facing any problem. In each semester we are having 4 continuous assessments (CA) and 2 Practical assessments (PA) which are being conducted regularly. If you just pay attention to the class lecture then it is not very difficult to pass.

I have not done any internship yet. As I am in my first year. But I have plans to get an opportunity to grab an internship in my 2nd year. Also, we should start working on our projects as soon as possible.

The placement scenario is very best. About 85% students get placed on campus with an average package of about 6-8 lakhs per annum. Many MNCs come to college during placement. The highest package of 2021 was 42 lakhs per annum offered by Microsoft.

The fee structure of BTech in IT for the batch is 112000 per year. In addition to this at the time of admission, you have to pay fees for uniforms, exam registration and other things. I am not availing of any scholarship so I don't have much idea about this.

College life is very awesome. There is a fest for every respective department and also a fest from the college side. A central library is there where many books are available. Every laboratory and some lecture rooms have AC installed. Every lab instruments are present and in good condition. The college organizes extracurricular activities such as sports and games, tech quizzes, blood donation campaigns and many more. Clubs are there for social work, tech, cyber security, reading etc.

At the time of admission, a group discussion will take place where the faculty members will tell everything about the fee structure and college facilities. After that, it's your wish whether you want to take admission or not.
