Entrance Preview

I cleared PGCET in 2012, I don't remember how much I scored but they were good and enough to get admission in this college.

Placement Experience

College Placement Drive was very good, a lot of companies came to the campus some of them are Unisys, Trident, IBM, Infosys with an average package of around 2 to 2.5 Lakh per annum, but I did not go for placement drive due to some reason.

Fee Structure And Facilities

College charged around 25000 per annum as tuition fee but there are some other charges also as Laboratory fee, Library fee, sports fee and much more, so it reached to a total of 27000 per annum, and this was not very much at that time for me.

Fees and Financial Aid

There were no provision for scholarship but college sponsored some students for education loan from regional banks.

Hostel Facilities

There were no hostel facilities for students. but other infrastructure of the college was very good such as Indoor and sports facilities, laboratories and amphitheatre.

External Expense: Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Exam Structure

There are exams in each semester and it went well but in the last semester I don't know what went wrong but I did not got good marks, there were also some practical exams and case studies.

Faculty

College had very qualified and experienced faculties, they were very helpful especially for me, they helped me in each aspect of my academic life.

Profiles are Business Analyst, Marketing, HR, Finance Analyst. Around 90-95% students get placed.

ISME: THIS IS ME !!

Course Curriculum Overview:

For jobs, it prepares you very well. You work through real case studies, Harvard business simulations, and a 4-to-6-month corporate internship, so you aren't completely clueless on day one at an office. If your goal is a PhD or pure research, though, it leans a bit too practical and corporate rather than deeply academic.

Life at ISME

Likes

I liked the faculty members as they are very approachable
Mentorship programs, international certifications
The diversity of students in our batch. Students came from all the parts of India.

Dislikes

College is very far from the main city and the airport as well.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum is very student friendly. We have guest lectures from various industry experts, subject matter experts etc. Our course is more practical based and industry focused. We also have regular exams for continuous monitoring.

Great Learning Experience

Likes

The batch size is small and competitive.
The International Immersion Program at Singapore
Industry Trajectory Program, which includes paid internship opportunities for 6 months months at top companies like Grant Thornton and ITC

Dislikes

The campus is far away from the main city
The 80% attendance in college is mandatory

Placement Experience:

We sit for final placements from our second year whereas other internship opportunities starts from the very beginning, like in our first year we had companies like EY and Deloitte for our Summer Internship Placement (SIP)

ISME PGDM REVIEW

Likes

Facility is very qualified. Faculties from IIM are also there. They are very friendly. They gives us extra support and mentorship after class also
College infrastructure is also good. Full of greenery amd calm environment and location is aldo good.
Placement is also good. And ROI is also good as per the fees.

Dislikes

The schedule is very hectic. And hostel timing is also short for returning.

Placement Experience:

Placements are also there 240+ recruiters come for campus placements. Average package is 8 to 9 lakhs and highest package is 17 lakh. We have Industry trajectory programme with big 4 like Kpmg GT etc

Isme campus life review

Likes

We have good faculties, who are very friendly and approachable
Study matarial is also very helpful, we are getting enough information and learnings we want
Corporate exposure of this college is amazing...we are getting good internships related to our feild

Placement Experience:

240 recruiters come to this college....we have industry trajectory program, placement oriented term, mock interviews, workshops. We have average package of 8pla and highest package is 17 lpa. We have career opportunities cell which prepare you for summer internships and final placement. In ITP students get stipend between 25 to 40k.

Insights of the Gopalan college of engineering and Management by a First Year Student

I chose this college by mistake as this college is mentioned in top 10 colleges in Bangalore or top 20 in some sites... The facilities are shit and I didn't know about it before I came to this college. Admission process is simple and doesn't take much time. Eligibility is to have atleast 45% in PU or boards. They accept comedk, Kcet and has a management quota admission as well. Cutoff are none even if u have 1 lakh rank in comedk u can get ISE in the college....Read More

which nobody would like to tell

I attended an exam called kcet which was very helpful for me to get government seat. My rank was 37,125 cut off for the 1st round was 40k and wheb it came to 3rd round it was around 60k for cse but for the other department cut off was about 50k in the 1st round itself, since cse is bit in demand people were intrested to join because of government seat and easy cutoff. But now juniors admission is increasing and cutoff too....Read More
