Remarks

I took the SRMJEE exam. The eligibility is a minimum of 75% in 12th boards in PCM respectively. All the details regarding the admissions and fees are available at srmup.in There is no improvement required in the admission procedure.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I chose CSE specialization in cloud computing because I have an interest in cloud computing and it is going to boom in the near future as everything is becoming online and being stored in the cloud. The facilities are very well qualified all PHD's and the faculty for maths and chemistry are specifically great. The faculty: student ratio is quite impressive. There are a total of 4 written exams in a semester that is in 6 months. And the checking done in these exams is quite strict.

Class Size: 30Course Fees: INR 220000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internships are very few in our college. To get an internship from college you have to be exceptional. I would suggest opting for internships outside the college as it will benefit and give a proper working environment.

Placement Experience

4.5

From the 7th semester, students are eligible for placements. Tycoons like Microsoft, Amazon, Wipro, HCL, TCS, Infosys etc. Visit our campus and Microsoft is the highest recruiter of all. The highest package ranges from 40-44 lakhs pa and the average package is 6 lakhs pa. Around 98% of students get pretty Placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees of our college are quite reasonable as compared to that of other private colleges (vit, bits, mit). The tuition fees are 2lakh pa. Hostel fees are 55K (non-ac) and 85K(AC) these prices are inclusive of mess and laundry services. The scholarship is provided and is subjected to change based on the board's result every year.

Campus Life

As of now there in the 2nd semester, there have been no annual fest. But there have been 2 tech fests(hackathons), debate, dance, singing etc competitions are quite common on the campus. The Library is well equipped and humangous. Classrooms are full AC and equipped with smart boards with and biometrics for attendance. Sports like TT, Basketball, cricket, volleyball, football, carrom and chess are available. There are plenty of clubs like photography, English speaking, drawing etc.

Other Applied Colleges

VIT Chennai | BE CSE Ai ML

Overall Feedback for College - Admission , Placement , Course , Faculty , Events

Likes

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam

What I See at SRM Ghaziabad

Likes

I really appreciated the college clubs and hackathons.
There are variety of events throughout the semester, something to always keep you on your feet.
Some of the faculties are really really experienced and have a unique approach that captures the attention of all the students.

Dislikes

Not many hotspots around campus to hang out after classes.
The infrastructure of the hostel can be improved a lot.
Food in mess is not great, the menu is not very diverse. Everything has aloo.

Placement Experience:

Placements are actually impressive with our college having the highest placement rate among others in the region. We usually achieve ~90% placement. We get opportunities from many large groups, such as Infosys, TCS, JPMC, BNY, Logitech, etc etc The list goes on. The highest package that I saw was of around 1Cr from a company I don't remember their name, but it was based out of SF and was a really great one. Average placement we see is around 12-20LPA packages.

The campus has less places to spend some free time other than some spots.
Due to small academic hall places may look too crowded.

Placement Experience:

The placements in the college is really one of the the factors convincing everyone to take admission in SRM ,average package from the college is of around 10,00,000 which is really a very good amount in todays stresfull market.

What I See at SRM Ghaziabad

I applied for the JEE Mains exam but I had no preparation for it, I did no coaching for any engineering entrance exam, which lead to great anxiety during the JEE exam, this lead to me not achieving a great score in the exam. I was accepted into Christ University and Vellore Institute of Technology but the NIRF rank of SRM compelled me to join here. This campus being close to my hometown was the perfect choice for me. The admission process is really straightforward and I do not need to even describe it here it is soooooo simple....Read More
