Remarks

Have to be graduated with Hons in English and have to bear good marks also and the handsome marks in secondary and higher secondary are also needed. Everyone can visit www.rbu.ac.in(our official website) and gather his/her every necessary information. And the phone numbers of faculty members are also available there. Yes in RBU, the reservation facilities are also available with fruitful benefits in admission. Actually being a regular student of this university I was victimized by the online payment process during admission. The condition of the website is really poor, so I think it should be improved.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I choose this university for its cultural ambience having with greenery campus and many more govt. facilities. The faculty and students ratio is extremely fine. The faculty members are really friendly like figures to every student. Yes, the faculty members are well educated because at the time of their entrance they had to qualify for their entrance exams. Then come the professor's teaching methods which are really good and helpful for every single student. Here the exams are held in the semester system under CBCS and two separate semesters are to be given by every course's students. And there are no difficulties to pass the examination. if a student regularly attends the classes and listens to the lectures they will easily pass the examination.

Fees and Financial Aid

Because of Government undertakes universities, the admission and examination fees are very low than the other universities and colleges. Probably In Masters, there are various faculty fees so approximately can be said 2000 to 20000 per year. SVMCM scholarships are provided with 60% marks and for girl students, Kannyasree(K3) is also provided.

Campus Life

4.5

Actually, there are annual departmental freshers in every department and also the grand feast is organised by our student union and it continues for 3 days. Therefore the annual sports tournaments and the other festival like 'Mela' is also organised by the students of visual arts and faculty of fine arts students and Saraswati Puja, and Holi are also celebrated on the campus. Yes, there can be happened any kind of shortage in the collection of books and journals because there are central libraries and departmental libraries also. And the annual magazine is also published with a number of student's writings, paintings, poems and so more and also a wall magazine is there. The classrooms are well furnished and audio-visual systems are there in a few classrooms. For sports and extra curricular there is a large playground in the midst middle of our campus and also the gym facilities are there. Yes, we have a social group named Rabindra Bharati University on Facebook.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

The hostel facility is superb in a a word. In a large room four members will be shifted with their beds and other necessary things. The meal quality of the hostel is also good and it is totally dependent on the students also because one student in one month have to become a secretary and manage all this. Therefore sometimes from the hostel faculties the tiffins or lunch/dinner/breakfast are distributed through the students. After taking admission the students who really want the hostel facility have to fill up a form of hostel and affordability. Then probably within 2-3 months the authorities publish the selection list. During this selection they always measure the distance from their home to the university and whose distance is long he/she will be selected. Also anyone can have a lot of PG or mess facilities around university campus with their desired monthly charges.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for applying for internships after the 3rd semester, and students can apply for placements only after 4th semester. Companies like Ericsson, Ernst and Young, JPMG makes visits our department for mostly analyst roles for economic and fundamental trading decisions. The highest offer made was 45LPA while the average is 7.5LPA. The median pakage is 8LPA. Almost 90% students secure placements after completing their degree since the Training and placement cell is pretty proactive in securing good company visits. I plan for investing and analyst roles in banking companies. I would sit for placements hoping for the same.

The program of distance learning from University of Kalyani is the best Distance learning program at that I have ever come across. The distance program provides all of the facilities same as any regular program which makes it a wonderful option for all of the student who cannot afford to go to college regularly.

I am both positive and negative marks started with positive the factories where very good well well qualified there is no ragging the environment is eco friendly people very helpful there is no senior junior bond everyone is equal. The negative were enormous starting with the infrastructure in some places there are new buildings halls which are not even maintained and that's the biggest problem facilities are not given to student in the hostel so much carelessness is there in the routine work people are very lazy to do their working time authority is very slow to do their workrecreational activities other than academics are very less a student didn't get the time for recreational and facilities were also not there I come modern infrastructure universities should be so we have to change this things to do the university prosper in the later year in the first and foremost thing is determination a that everyone should give efforts to make our university Pride and worthful.
