Remarks

Our Department is equipped with laboratories.The Laboratories are aesthetically designed with state of art equipment.Our department has also excelled in the fields of projects.The aim of our college is to develop within each student a robust professional skill.

Entrance Preview

Our selection for admission is based on the cut-off marks obtained in the Higher Secondary Science Stream.Cut off mark=200.100 marks for Mathematics and 100 for Physics+ chemistry.The process of admission is purely provisional and subject to confirmation of Anna University.

Hostel Facilities

The good thing in our Hostel is that it is ragging free campus.The surroundings are clean and hygienic.There are entertainment halls with multi-channel television facility.Our campus is also smoking free.

External Expense: More Than Rs.15000

Alumni/Alumna

Alumnus from college now engaged in top companies, leading banks, various industries etc.Most of them qualified in campus and off-campus interviews. Alumni meet in our college is not organised till now.

Exam Structure

Our course is 4 years and it is based on semesters.The class strength for theory course is about 60 and laboratory course is 30. Sessional exams and class tests are compulsory.After every 6-month final exam held. After Final exam practicals in our college laboratory conducted.

Our departmental faculty is very focused in their teaching.Their mission is to produce Engineers with self-discipline, high integrity and good personality.They provide us excellent engineering education and training.All our teachers are highly educated in their disciplines.

Overall Good Experience at EEC

Likes

good infrastructure, clean campus and well equipped classrooms and labs.
Faculty members are supportive and explain concepts clearly with practical examples.
Good placement opportunities, career guidance and opportunities to participate in activities.

Dislikes

The workload can be huge sometimes, especially during examinations and project submissions.
some subjects could include more practical and industry-oriented learning
More campus activities and student interactions opportunities would improve campus life.

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

An average of more than 90% of rhe students were placed during my term. Companies like amazon, juspay, adobe, hcl, cts, tcs, adp etc came and there are 500 companies that visisted our campus during my batch

Sathyabama is value for money

Likes

the classrooms in specialization are air conditioned
faculty is supportive for academic growth

Dislikes

the attendance is strict at 75% and subject attendances upto 80%
you cannot exit campus before 3.15 pm under any circumstances

Placement Experience:

The placements are very decent and they provide internships as early career opportunities as well in 3rd year of studies and the college possess high conversion rates through these internships which support the resume with actual corporate exposure

This is the best college overall

Likes

The curriculum provided is really nice and understandable.
It is relevant and is effective as well.
The boy girl ratio is on the other hand a little less as in 45:15.

Dislikes

The way some facilities behave with students is really bad especially in our branch.
Some facilities are too rude and they often don’t want to listen to students point of view

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

The network connectivity in girls hostel is poor
The food at mess is average sometimes it is not taste
The practical labs are help at distance.

Placement Experience:

At 8th semester the students can become eligible for campus placement and the companies visited more oftens are win etc the highest packages about 25 LP and average packers about 2.5 lpa percentage of students getting placement is above 80 percentage.

Dislikes

High fees the government college but charging high fees making it difficult for students from lower income background to access quality education
often have limited seats dealing to intense competition and disappointment for some students
College provide only theoretical knowledge students for practical skills

Likes

The thing I most liked is the campus the infrastructue
There are a many clubs so it's exciting for people who like other things then studies
The opportunities as well the alumini network

Dislikes

The campus is very crowded there are many people compared to other colleges
The category wise fee structure and the increasing fees
Charges for hostel are little more then others

Placement Experience:

As of my information the placements are pretty decent..first the placements used to take place in Vellore campus but I guess jow they have started here as well ..as of my opinion the placement stars from the 7th semester

It's like Schools .There will be special class if you didn't get much marks like schools .

Placement Experience:

From 5 th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placements. Lots of companies. The highest package is 26 lakhs and the average package is 1.5 lakhs. 98% of students get placed. Doing my best in a career as an entrepreneur.

Student who passed 12th is eligible to join any course. Admission can be taken in online saveetha site as well as offline in saveetha college sail library 1st floor.
