Entrance Preview

The candidates have to first fill the application form and submit it. The selected candidates will be called for ITSAT and then the candidates who clear them will be called for final interview.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is designed properly for the students and all the subjects are covered in the 1st year. The candidates can understand and then make an informed decisions about the specialization.

Internships Opportunities

The summer internship is a 5 unit course and the final semester is a 15 unit course. Students of all disciplines are eligible after completion of 4 Semesters for summers and for finals students of all disciplines are eligible after completion of 6 Semesters either in 7th or 8th semester.

Placement Experience

The entire placement exercise is a joint effort between the ICFAI Tech School and the students. While the ICFAI Tech School provides guidance, support, and networking with potential employers, the students have the responsibility to put in the maximum possible efforts to obtain suitable placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college has collaboration with many banks. The scholarship is decided based on each semester marks of the students. You can tax benefit once you start working in a corporate company.

Worth considering for your tech career

Course Curriculum Overview:

I like that the course doesn't feel outdated. Along with the regular subjects we spend a lot of time on coding, projects, and problem solving so it feels connected to what companies actually expect. As a second year student i already feel like i am building skills that i will be able to use during internships and placements and not just preparing for semester exams

Relevant and practical experience

Course Curriculum Overview:

Before joining I thought it would be like any other engineering college where we just study for exams. But after coming here, I felt it's a bit different. We do have theory classes, but there are also coding sessions, projects and assignments almost every week. Sometimes it gets a little hectic but I think it's actually helping us learn better. The syllabus feels relevant.

A valuable four year journey

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course has been a nice mix of theory and practical work. We don't just sit through lectures all day there are coding sessions, projects, assignments, and hands on activities that make the subjects easier to understand. It feels like you are learning skills that you'll use later. One thing I noticed after joining is that the classes don't feel the same every day. Some days are regular lectures while on others we are working on coding problems, assignments or small projects. That change keeps things interesting.

I think IN-campus Placements are the best thing that this college may offer.This is one of the top college in Telangana so almost every top company gives a chance to this college companies like Cisco, Insfosys, TCS, Cognizent, Accenture and many more.The highest package is 34LPA last year 2024, and the average is 7LPA i think.I think almost 60 to 70 percentage of people get place in the companies.I plan to get place in the top most comnmpany in the Telanagana after getting degree.

Placement Experience:

The placement department makes sure everyone gets at least one offer in their hand if not they will conduct a special drive and also conduct mock interviews to boost confidence and ask the students what they want based on the requirements they bring some good companies.

We'll be eligible for campus placements from 3rd year onwards. Wen need to do few Internships too. Highest package is 34L and average package is 3to4L. Around 60% students may get average package, 2% may get Highest package and if you dont get a job you need to do some course for 3 to 4 months then you may get job.

Academics, internship and Life at IBS Hyderabad

I didn't apply to any other colleged since I was focused on OBS Hyderabad. The addmission process is straightforward. You can apply through CAT, NMAT and IBSAT with IBSAT offering a scholarship of two lakhs to the eligible students. In order to get admitted to IBS you can appear for IBSAT or get admitted through CAT, NMAT or any other MBA exams.
