REVIEW OF KURUKSHETRA UNIVERSITY

I am doing BALLB from Kurukshetra university . I took admission in 2019 in law. University took their own entrance exam for Law. If you have not given exams like CLAT and AILET. You are still eligible to give kuk entrance exam. I am only aware about BALLB . Eligibility: Those Who completed their 12 with 45% are eligible to give exam You can find application form online or offline both. Examination fee is 500. Exam is of 100 marks , no negative marking. Exam is easy as compare to other exams like CLAT and AILET. You can easily score well in exam. Results came out online on official website. After that counselling process had started. All the documents like migration certificate, birth certificate, Aadhaar card, photo, 12 dmc, 10 dmc are required in counseling. First sem fee will be collected on that day of counselling. As i am from GEN category i have no details about reservation benefits. Admission process is fine according to me.

I choose this course because i love to read different laws and i want to study different laws. I find this course quite interesting. Faculty : student ratio is good, There are 120 students in every batch. Faculty qualification is LLM, PHD, NET JRF. Teaching method is good, some faculty is very good at teaching. Term exams are conducted at the end of every semester. They are timely conducted. Exams are not so much difficult. If you study smartly according to the syllabus . You will score well. Results are getting delayed. This is true. If you give exams in Dec then your result will come in next jun. There is an issue of compartment/ supplementary in kuk but if you give your exams well then you will not face any problem like reappear i have not faced any problem like this.

Fee structure for 1st year: 72000 approx. 2nd year 68000 approx. 3rd year 68000 approx. 4th year 57000 5th year 57000 Scholarship & financial assistance is available for SC candidates only. I have no idea about Campus jobs.

In Law dept. there is one fest called Law fest scheduled every year in month of march. Other extra curricular activities conducted at different time every year like debates, seminars etc. Books and journals are available in Law dept. library and central library as well. Classrooms are good , fully ventilated. There are no of activities in kuk campus like sports tournament , college popular fest ratnawali, SAU fest , Book fair etc. There are many student unions and parties which are working for welfare of students like ABVP, NSUI, INSO etc.

In first year i took pg near kuk campus , PG name is Disha Girls Pg near 3rd gate, kuk, Pg was really good , food facility was good, Pg was affordable But i prefer hostel over pg , Hostel have many facilities than pg . There is full safety and security of girls in hostels. Every stream students is alloted a different hostel. I was alloted yamuna bhawan in girls hostel. There was facilities like Gym, Temple, Girls canteen, Every requirement is fulfiled , Common rooms for study, Greenery in Hostel campus. Room are very big and fully ventilated and bed, table, chair , book shelf, almirah is provided in hostel. Food facility is also good. Currently Food diet cost 100rs per day and hostel fee is 14000 for 6 months with included security amount which is refundable. Menu was same like any other university. you have to fill a form for hostel and submit in dept. office then it will send to hostels. Then you have to submit hostel fee . Hostels are affordable.
