In VIT Vellore for B.Tech courses, there are 5 Categories. Life at the VIT Vellore campus is really good and also tiring as you have to walk a lot. There are two fests conducted every year. The technical fest is known as Gravitas and is usually conducted in September/October and the Cultural fest is known as Rivera which is conducted during February. The is also Prime Vera which is generally like a Freshers fest. The library at VIT is really good, it provides a lot of books. The classrooms are spacious. There is a wide range of sports facilities and student clubs and chapters on the campus.

There are two types of room types provided during the hostel selection process: AC and NAC. In an AC room, you will be provided with an AC remote and you can turn it on and off and adjust the temperature as per your needs. The food quality in VIT mess is not bad, it depends from hostel to hostel as each hostel is catered by a different catering agency. The hostel selection is done through the First come first serve process(Fastest Fingers first). Make sure you have a good internet connection during the hostel selection process.
