Remarks

The admission process is through on 12 class-based percentages. A minimum of 70% in class 12 is required to take admission. The application form is available on chitkara website. The fee for the application form is 1000rs. The Punjab domicile students have some reserved seats.

Course Curriculum Overview

the faculty is good at chitkara university. The faculty is all qualified and help us learn the subject more thoroughly. They always ask us if we have any issues in the studies that they could solve. Approx 300 faculty on 3500 students. exams are taken on time after every 6 months.

Class Size: 39Course Fees: INR 164000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure is:- The fee for tuition is of 4 years is 656000. the fee for a hostel for 4 years is 410000 (including mess and laundry). The scholarship is not available at this university. cost of the study is a lit bit high because didn't give us any scholarship.

Campus Life

Life on campus is good at. No ragging at all. Proper cleanliness is maintained by all. The various tech webinar and fest is organized by students and faculty. There are many clubs like c2s2,geeks for geeks, CodeChef, bits, and bytes, etc.

PEC is great choice

Placement Experience:

placements from rti report placement percentage is over 75 + and in ee its 74 percent cse 93 and ece 84 percent avg for cse is 18 lakhs and ece is 16 lakhs ee its 14 lakh and other branches have 8 10 lakh avg but the placemnt percentage in mechncial is 70 percent other branches like civil production have a little less percentage of placements but they have opportunities in college

Life at Panjab University

In our college students need to have 6CGPA to still in campus placements and our college have a Club that overseas all the placement oppertunityies and the placement starts from 7th semester onwards when students starts there seventy semester the company's starts visiting campus for placement and internship opportunity as well

Placement Experience:

Yes,very good college placements are available in our college.Students of 8 semester that is 4th year students are eligible for campus placement Companies such as TCS,wipro,amex,gemini solutions and etc many more companies are there for placement 60-80% students got placed in the companies with an average package of 8 lakhs and with a highest package of 35 lakhs Iam oriented towards govt jobs and in future if I will be interested in coding sector I will do preparation for off campus and specifically for Rubrik

Placement Experience:

Placement do occur in the college. It's average package is around 7.5, lakh. Since I am the first year right now, I don't have data to support the placement record, but some of my seniors of fourth year are getting placed. One of my IT senior got placed for 14 LPA and other other, my Cse senior got placed for around 12 LPA. so opportunities are there for those who want to do something

Nmims Chandigarh for btech review

Placement Experience:

We have avergae package of 12 lpa and 57lpa highest, i am not aware of how mqny placed. As such i have plan to get placed but if things didnt go out as planed then mba or mtech maybe. Our campus just opened recently so there is no much information but our placements are central that means, companies visting mumbai have to visit us too, and u can refer mumbai campus placement for our campus because its counted on central level and not varries campus to campus

Honest insider review - Chitkara University, Punjab

There was no such entrance exam sort of thing. they were just expecting a minimum percentage in the boards examination that too was very low to be honest. i didnt found such difficulty for the admission process as i had scored good marks in the 12th board. The application form was available on the official website of the university. The fees has been increased the last time i toook admission. It took 162,000 for 1 yr of college fees. No reservation benifits were availed by me being a GENERAL. Overall, the admission process was easy i found no diificulty. Although, they can improve the communication hrough the intermediater who accepted my form and took me thorugh the admission process. as it was online, i found some difficulty in communicating with themaslso havinng some misunderstandings with them.....Read More
