Our college eligibility for joining is the cut off mark in +2 board exam is above 160 and they have to score pass mark in jee main the application is available in online after we a pay the application fees in online the sen the application in an email they separate the 50 percent seats for obc category no it is the best college in admission

From childhood I like to take this course and the is strongly present in my mind so I choose this course the faculties are the best and most talented and the more than 4500 students are studying there the teaching is very perfect all are understood easily

The companies like Wipro Microsoft Google and many other companies are giving the internships opportunity and the project and outcomes are the best and easy tasks to clarify in our college my senior student are offered by the best companies

The third-semester students are eligible for campus placement and the companies are Wipro Microsoft Google like many MNC companies also visited the average package is 12,00,000 per annum and the highest is 30,00,000 per annum

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees are normal when compared to all other engineering colleges in Coimbatore they give the best placement all over India and the average package is 100000 per month are more than the scholarship give for the student who will pass the data examination I got didn't get the job because I study in 2nd year

Campus Life

The annual fest is conducted on the date of our founder's birthday and the tech fest is conducted on November 14 and there many books available in our college library and the amenities are best there is the best future for the sports person in that college

Hostel Facilities

The room is huge and they give a fan for each bed and they distribute the tea snacks in the evening 5o clock and the meals are great and best in the morning they give a Tiffen like idly and Pongal and lunch is meals and dinner is chappathi this registration process also an online process.

In vlb Janakiammal college of arts and science kovaipudhur coimbatore ,i dont know much about the placements but there are so much placements for everyone the placement success rate is almost 98 persent

Overall Good Experience at EEC

Likes

good infrastructure, clean campus and well equipped classrooms and labs.
Faculty members are supportive and explain concepts clearly with practical examples.
Good placement opportunities, career guidance and opportunities to participate in activities.

Dislikes

The workload can be huge sometimes, especially during examinations and project submissions.
some subjects could include more practical and industry-oriented learning
More campus activities and student interactions opportunities would improve campus life.

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

Life in HIMT

Likes

With regards to training and placements the college is very good . All training as per DGMA and IMU is strictly followed and the placements for B.Sc is 90% and above . The faculties and instructors in the college are well experienced and skilled.
The college is strict regarding alcohol and smoking and it is not allowed inside campus and regular alcohol checks are conducted . Discipline and safety is the first priority for the college.
Classrooms are air conditioned. Hostel rooms are good . Any defects in rooms or any places inside college which are addressed are rectified.

Dislikes

College doesn't conduct inter college events . Internal events are very less . The few events conducted in college has also many restrictions.
Galley food can be better . College canteen is not good

Placement Experience:

The placements for B.Sc Nautical science in HIMT is 90% and above . The placement drive usually starts in the 2nd year (4th semester) and for girls 1st year (2nd semester). The companies which usually come for placements in my college are MOLMI,MOLTA, ZODIAC,SANMAR,GENCO, ONESEA etc ... The package for cadets differ from company to company and type of vessel.

My great experience in HIMT

Likes

all staffs are we experienced in their field and good in explaining, very friendly
hostel is well maintained and college is always clean
everything works in college based upon the review system. so any issues will resolve quickly

Placement Experience:

HIMT has good placements rates to all the batches, espically for GME they are doing well good. many gets placements in first semester itself. many big gaint companies in marine industry are approching to HIMT for placements.

Likes

Exams can be usually easy as this is a five year integrated course
Some faculties are friendly as they themselves are fresh graduates

Dislikes

But most faculties come off very rude and disrespectful
The office people are not at all approachable
The student login has so many glitches which cause delays in downloading of hallticket

Course Curriculum Overview:

There is one end semester exam and 2 CIAs in one year.Endsem is for 100m and CIAs are 40marks each . There is one assignment for each CIA for 10m each. So totally both the CIA together is 100 marks. Then the average of CIA and end semester is calculated if 40 or above it's pass otherwise you have to reappear. The subjects are not at relevant as computer science keeps changing regularly.

I got admission in this college via counselling. I had PCB in 10+2 and gave NEET which a national entrance test exam to get admission into medical courses. The scores obtained in entrance exam matters a lot in deciding the merit.
