Remarks

The college has good advertising network but bad policies to bring things what was advertised. The college will advertise that they concentrate on practical knowledge but you will be forced to read, memory and write stuff. Clearly, the college wants to take a leap with their work but they didn't figure it out yet. You will be their lab rat if planning to join in their venture.

Entrance Preview

No entrance examination was taken. I got in through management quota. The admission process was easy and didn't take more than a day.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course structure was very easy to rely on and understand. But there are some unwanted things to study also which are not prior to the course but it's there in the syllabus provided by the anna university. Since the college is affiliated to anna university, every course are taught according to the syllabus provided by the university itself

Internships Opportunities

Yes, the college provides internships for outstanding researchers. It's one of the good sides of the management. The college will grant stipend or overall research funding according to the students need. From my experience, a stipend of at least 10000 rupees can be easily sanctioned for students even from other colleges.

Placement Experience

1.5

For Biomedical engineering, there had been no pass-outs in the college. So, the college can bring some local companies for placements this year. It is very inaccurate if there will be any tier one companies to come for campus interview. But I hope it will happen in the forthcoming years.

College Events

3

There will be a cultural festival and lot of workshops and seminars. There will also be technical events like app development and robot development contest. There are research groups like kalam centre, entrepreneur cell, etc., Every department will conduct symposium once in a year and even students from other departments can participate with hod's permission.

Fee Structure And Facilities

In Tamilnadu, it is the most affordable college for bio-medical engineering despite all the bad sides. If someone is looking for just a degree they can join this college can also have some good time. This college charges 98,000 rupees as a yearly fee. One can also negotiate the price and have concession if someone you know is already studying in this college. Mess and hostel cost extra 70,000 rupees approx.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college can grant scholarship for students who have research or project background. But I have friends who study completely free in this college who are funded by various organisations like Agaram foundation and Mattram foundation. The college has its own foundation called Agni foundation which grants full scholarship for students who have participated in their popular tv show called 7Aam Arivu. Education loans from various banks in India can also be granted and accepted.

Campus Life

5

Campus life in this college can be good with good library access. The college is a co-ed college where there is a good diversity between boys and girls. There are competitions and sports event often happen in the college through symposiums or specific events. They are actually very good in its own kind. The college highly encourages students involved in robotics and drones. Lab facilities are also good since you can access it anytime.

Hostel Facilities

5

The mess food provided here is one of the best when compared to other hostels. Mess fee can be little overpriced but its worth it. you can always question if the quality of the food is not good. Hostel facilities are also good. You have access to both hot and cold water. There is also free wifi provided to the student who has laptops. The speed of the wifi is really fast.

Alumni/Alumna

I don't know anything about alumni network. But, the good thing about this college is that the senior students are really good and helpful. There is no ragging in this college and you can always speak for yourself with anyone without fear.

Exam Structure

There are so many exam one have to take if they have some arrears. Even though the students will be forced to study hard especially if a student stays in the college hostel. The exam structure is the worst in the college. Very less time is given to the students to learn than to write what they learned. It will be like a week of learning and a weak to examination.

Admission

I got in through the management quota which the college offers for its own standard price. The admission cost is a little bit higher the cost offered for people who got into through anna university counseling. I had to approach the college for management admission and they explained the courses and fee structure. They gave me a tour of the campus. And that's it everything was done in seconds.

Faculty

1.5

Some faculty is extremely good in their own field. But such faculty are appointed to teach biomedical subjects that are not even their own field. Nowadays, the college replaces its good and valuable faculty to new freshers who just don't know what they have to teach. They also have no experience on what they do.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is relevant and provides a good balance of theoretical knowledge and practical learning. It prepares students for real-world applications, but more industry projects, practical sessions, and updated teaching methods would help. Exams are generally well-spaced and moderately difficult.

Placement Experience:

Placements are generally decent, with students becoming eligible from the final year. Several companies visit for recruitment, offering roles in technical and non-technical fields. Packages vary by company, and placement opportunities depend on skills and performance. Many students secure jobs, while others pursue higher studies or competitive exams.
