Remarks

The board cut-off for these entrance exams is a minimum of 60%. It's a 150 mins exam consisting of 125 questions. There are a total of 4 subjects in this exam (maths/bio, physics, chemistry and English). Top 10k is considered to be a good rank for this entrance exams.

I have a keen interest in coding. So I have opted for computer science as my cut-off made me eligible for it. On top of that placement opportunities for computer science are the most these days as there are many companies ready to hire you with a good package.

Internships Opportunities

There are numerous internship offers that keep coming to us. We have to refer our mail for that of course. Some students after doing the internship, even get the pre-placement offers with a good amount package.

Placement Experience

The placements are really good in the college. The only downfall is that there is a huge crowd here so the competition increases. This year the highest went up to 1cr per annum which was offered to 2 students. The average package is around 8lakhs per annum.

Fees and Financial Aid

Considering the fees, I feel it is a little bit towards the higher side. As there are various categories in which we get the course. As the category increases, so do the fees. Scholarships are given to those students who secure under 1k rank in the entrance exams.

Campus Life

The campus life is pretty nice here. There is a lot of interaction going on with people from around the world. The campus is huge and beautiful. The library is very good as it's digitalized. There are many sports fields where we can play our preferred sport. The clubs and events run by the students are vast here.

Hostel Facilities

Hostels here are pretty decent. There are both ac and non AC accommodations. Rooms are of 2 bed, 3 bedded, 4 bedded and 6 bedded. The fees increases as the number of beds decreases. Different blocks have a different mess and then if fine types. It is divided into 3 vegs, non-veg and special mess.

Overall Good Experience at EEC

Likes

good infrastructure, clean campus and well equipped classrooms and labs.
Faculty members are supportive and explain concepts clearly with practical examples.
Good placement opportunities, career guidance and opportunities to participate in activities.

Dislikes

The workload can be huge sometimes, especially during examinations and project submissions.
some subjects could include more practical and industry-oriented learning
More campus activities and student interactions opportunities would improve campus life.

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

An average of more than 90% of rhe students were placed during my term. Companies like amazon, juspay, adobe, hcl, cts, tcs, adp etc came and there are 500 companies that visisted our campus during my batch

Experienced faculties, their constant encouragement to students to participate in seminars, lectures, internships, intercollegiate programs and other research based conferences and activities.
The college had good infrastructure, modern laboratories, smart classrooms, sports facilities and a slate clean campus.
The placement cell, incubation cell, and intellectual property cell of our college are easily approachable and they help in developing our ideas, patenting and registering them.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum covers important subjects such as cell biology, microbiology, biochemistry, genetics, immunology, bio processing, principles of chemical engineering, and wr have hands on practice through pur well-equipped laboratory sessions.

This is the best college overall

Likes

The curriculum provided is really nice and understandable.
It is relevant and is effective as well.
The boy girl ratio is on the other hand a little less as in 45:15.

Dislikes

The way some facilities behave with students is really bad especially in our branch.
Some facilities are too rude and they often don’t want to listen to students point of view

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

Placement Training and Career development at CIT

In my college , I experienced diversed equality and gained more knowledge by training staffs and assessments

Placement Experience:

One thing I really need to appreciate at CIT is its placement training program. The placement team conducts regular sessions on 1. aptitude 2. coding 3. communication skills 4. group discussions and 5. interview preparation which helped me feel more confident during placements. The trainers were friendly and always encouraged us to improve our skills step by step. They provide continuous guidance and feedback throughout the training process. Mock interviews and one to one assessments helped me to understand my strength and weak areas and I work on improvements . These sessions not only improved my technical and communication skills but also boosted my confidence . The placement training team played an important role in preparing me for career opportunities and industry expectation

Likes

The thing I most liked is the campus the infrastructue
There are a many clubs so it's exciting for people who like other things then studies
The opportunities as well the alumini network

Dislikes

The campus is very crowded there are many people compared to other colleges
The category wise fee structure and the increasing fees
Charges for hostel are little more then others

Placement Experience:

As of my information the placements are pretty decent..first the placements used to take place in Vellore campus but I guess jow they have started here as well ..as of my opinion the placement stars from the 7th semester
