Remarks

A minimum of 60% is needed in the 12th board exams and VIT conducts its own entrance exam called VITEEE and the branch you'll get will be decided by the rank of this VITEEE exam. You can find the entry form on its website. Vit.ac.in.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course as I was always intrested in computers and programming and moreover i didn't get computer science so i choose information technology. Faculty to student ratio is good VIT frequently hire faculties.Most of the faculties are PhD. In a semester we have 2 CATs(Continuous Assessment Test) and 1 FATs(Final Assessment Test) .

Class Size: 65Course Fees: INR 200000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees Structure is also rank based as if I got 2031 rank so I couldn't get computer science and engineering in 1st Category that's why I had to go with Information Technology in Category 1. Now, what are these categories. Based on your rank if you can't get a seat in category 1 you have to pay more fees in category 2 for the same seat sounds wrong but it's good.

Campus Life

We have an annual fest called Riviera and a Technical fest called Gravitas which takes place in September. We have Periyar Central Library which is a huge library with 3 floors fully air-conditioned and contains more than 2.5 lakh books and more than that in digital format digital library and contains all the journals published by VIT. All Classrooms are spacious but only labs are air-conditioned while theory classes only have fans. On the take of sports VIT has paid Gym, Tennis Court, Swimming Pool, Indoor Gym, Indoor Badminton court, and some karate classes too and a free for all outdoor stadium, a free gym, table tennis room basketball court and many more you can have fun and other extracurricular activities and birthday celebration at Foodies. There are more than 120 clubs in VIT and many teams and chapters too. Even you can make your own club if you have a unique idea which does not exist in vit . Even facilities and administration help and encourage you in the process.

Overall Good Experience at EEC

Likes

good infrastructure, clean campus and well equipped classrooms and labs.
Faculty members are supportive and explain concepts clearly with practical examples.
Good placement opportunities, career guidance and opportunities to participate in activities.

Dislikes

The workload can be huge sometimes, especially during examinations and project submissions.
some subjects could include more practical and industry-oriented learning
More campus activities and student interactions opportunities would improve campus life.

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

Placement Experience:

An average of more than 90% of rhe students were placed during my term. Companies like amazon, juspay, adobe, hcl, cts, tcs, adp etc came and there are 500 companies that visisted our campus during my batch

Sathyabama is value for money

Likes

the classrooms in specialization are air conditioned
faculty is supportive for academic growth

Dislikes

the attendance is strict at 75% and subject attendances upto 80%
you cannot exit campus before 3.15 pm under any circumstances

Placement Experience:

The placements are very decent and they provide internships as early career opportunities as well in 3rd year of studies and the college possess high conversion rates through these internships which support the resume with actual corporate exposure

This is the best college overall

Likes

The curriculum provided is really nice and understandable.
It is relevant and is effective as well.
The boy girl ratio is on the other hand a little less as in 45:15.

Dislikes

The way some facilities behave with students is really bad especially in our branch.
Some facilities are too rude and they often don’t want to listen to students point of view

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

The network connectivity in girls hostel is poor
The food at mess is average sometimes it is not taste
The practical labs are help at distance.

Placement Experience:

At 8th semester the students can become eligible for campus placement and the companies visited more oftens are win etc the highest packages about 25 LP and average packers about 2.5 lpa percentage of students getting placement is above 80 percentage.

Knowledge and skills college private students with foundation in the achieves and feel helping them develop skills and knowledge

Dislikes

High fees the government college but charging high fees making it difficult for students from lower income background to access quality education
often have limited seats dealing to intense competition and disappointment for some students
College provide only theoretical knowledge students for practical skills

Likes

The thing I most liked is the campus the infrastructue
There are a many clubs so it's exciting for people who like other things then studies
The opportunities as well the alumini network

Dislikes

The campus is very crowded there are many people compared to other colleges
The category wise fee structure and the increasing fees
Charges for hostel are little more then others

Placement Experience:

As of my information the placements are pretty decent..first the placements used to take place in Vellore campus but I guess jow they have started here as well ..as of my opinion the placement stars from the 7th semester

It's like Schools .There will be special class if you didn't get much marks like schools .

Placement Experience:

From 5 th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placements. Lots of companies. The highest package is 26 lakhs and the average package is 1.5 lakhs. 98% of students get placed. Doing my best in a career as an entrepreneur.

Placement is very excellent in this college. Nearly all eligibility students get placed every year. Many recruiters are recruiting their employees through this college. The minimum package is 3 lakh per annum.
