Remarks

Physics 50%, chemistry 50%, and math minimum 50% marks are needed. Viteee entrance exam should be written There is 5 category type of fee structure in which you can opt for category 1,2 in which fees is less. No reservations are available. No improvements in the admission process are needed.

Course Curriculum Overview

As Electronics and communication engineering is useful in future technology, I opted for this course. Faculty: student is 1:64. All faculties are qualified from IIT, MIT, and Oxford. Exams are mind-blowing and moderate.

Many emails I have received from my college mail I'd till now I didn't apply for any company in my college. Projects in my college have 6 credits, I need to finish 150 credits to get my degree. My internship has 8 credits in my college.

Placement Experience

6-semester students who become eligible for the placement and those who don't have any arrears can sit for the placements. 6000 many offers, 722 companies. 85-90% of the students get placed. I am planning to get MTech after the degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

The cost to study in it is a little higher than another college as there there are 5 types of fee categories. There are government scholarships for SC ST. Up to category 3, it is ok but more than that it is very high as it is up to 5-6 L per annum and hostel fees extra cost 1L to 1.23L.

Campus Life

Sports facilities are good and the availability of books is also good in the library. The classrooms are clean and tidy. Many clubs and chapters are there inside the campus to increase the knowledge of students.

Hostel Facilities

Room facilities are good with 6 bedded 4 bedded and 2 bedded,3 bedded. Meal quality is also very good. The registration process is all through online payment no cash payment. I am in k block of Vit Vellore ug.

Overall Good Experience at EEC

Likes

good infrastructure, clean campus and well equipped classrooms and labs.
Faculty members are supportive and explain concepts clearly with practical examples.
Good placement opportunities, career guidance and opportunities to participate in activities.

Dislikes

The workload can be huge sometimes, especially during examinations and project submissions.
some subjects could include more practical and industry-oriented learning
More campus activities and student interactions opportunities would improve campus life.

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

An average of more than 90% of rhe students were placed during my term. Companies like amazon, juspay, adobe, hcl, cts, tcs, adp etc came and there are 500 companies that visisted our campus during my batch

Sathyabama is value for money

the classrooms in specialization are air conditioned
faculty is supportive for academic growth

Dislikes

the attendance is strict at 75% and subject attendances upto 80%
you cannot exit campus before 3.15 pm under any circumstances

The placements are very decent and they provide internships as early career opportunities as well in 3rd year of studies and the college possess high conversion rates through these internships which support the resume with actual corporate exposure

This is the best college overall

Likes

The curriculum provided is really nice and understandable.
It is relevant and is effective as well.
The boy girl ratio is on the other hand a little less as in 45:15.

Dislikes

The way some facilities behave with students is really bad especially in our branch.
Some facilities are too rude and they often don’t want to listen to students point of view

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

There are a many clubs so it's exciting for people who like other things then studies

As of my information the placements are pretty decent..first the placements used to take place in Vellore campus but I guess jow they have started here as well ..as of my opinion the placement stars from the 7th semester
