Remarks

We have to give VITEEE examination which is the entrance examination to get into the college according to the rank you get. The examination is pretty basic and easy enough to get a good rank. After that the better rank you get, the better branch you can choose. IT & CSE are the most popular courses offered by this college. I personally want this college to reduce the number of students admitted because as much the campus is, it gets very crowdy.

Course Curriculum Overview

The Course Curriculum is pretty versatile but a little too hectic. There are at least more than 1000 courses offered. I chose Computer Science because this branch has the most scope to get placed as well as for higher studies. The faculty-to-student ratio is 1:60. Faculties are pretty educated with Phd and a lot of knowledge. We have three examinations every semester. They're pretty easy to pass but pretty tough to get maximum scores.

Internships Opportunities

College provides daily internship offers from India and well as abroad companies. We also have a Capstone Project where we complete our degree after making an impressive project based on a very inventive and unique concept.

Placement Experience

VIT tries its best to get all its students placed unless the students themselves are not interested. Students are eligible for placements as soon as they reach their fourth year i.e 7th semester. They are eligible for internships from the third year itself. This year, two students got placed for 1 cr package marking it the best placement in VIT history. Vit guarantees a 100% student placement. My plans after getting my degree are to get placed, do my job and complete an MBA.

Fees and Financial Aid

I had a VITEEE rank of 2567. So I got Cse at category 1 with a fee structure of tuition fees of 1.95 lakhs per annum. If you get a rank below 1000, you are offered a scholarship that includes fewer tuition fees.

Campus Life

The campus is more than 350 acres. It feels almost like an independent city of its own. Every daily life facilities are provided. There are more than 500 clubs and chapters in VIT which offer something to everyone who has unique talents in different areas such as sports, music, dance as well as technicals. VIT has the best library with all the books available and is pretty spacious.

Hostel Facilities

There are 15 men's hostels and 8 girls' hostels available with every facility provided starting from mess food to night mess. The mess food is pretty good when compared to other colleges. I do not recommend students to rent a PG.

Overall Good Experience at EEC

Likes

good infrastructure, clean campus and well equipped classrooms and labs.
Faculty members are supportive and explain concepts clearly with practical examples.
Good placement opportunities, career guidance and opportunities to participate in activities.

Dislikes

The workload can be huge sometimes, especially during examinations and project submissions.
some subjects could include more practical and industry-oriented learning
More campus activities and student interactions opportunities would improve campus life.

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

An average of more than 90% of rhe students were placed during my term. Companies like amazon, juspay, adobe, hcl, cts, tcs, adp etc came and there are 500 companies that visisted our campus during my batch

Sathyabama is value for money

the classrooms in specialization are air conditioned
faculty is supportive for academic growth

Dislikes

the attendance is strict at 75% and subject attendances upto 80%
you cannot exit campus before 3.15 pm under any circumstances

Placement Experience:

The placements are very decent and they provide internships as early career opportunities as well in 3rd year of studies and the college possess high conversion rates through these internships which support the resume with actual corporate exposure

This is the best college overall

Likes

The curriculum provided is really nice and understandable.
It is relevant and is effective as well.
The boy girl ratio is on the other hand a little less as in 45:15.

Dislikes

The way some facilities behave with students is really bad especially in our branch.
Some facilities are too rude and they often don’t want to listen to students point of view

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

At 8th semester the students can become eligible for campus placement and the companies visited more oftens are win etc the highest packages about 25 LP and average packers about 2.5 lpa percentage of students getting placement is above 80 percentage.

The thing I most liked is the campus the infrastructue
There are a many clubs so it's exciting for people who like other things then studies
The opportunities as well the alumini network

Dislikes

The campus is very crowded there are many people compared to other colleges
The category wise fee structure and the increasing fees
Charges for hostel are little more then others

Placement Experience:

As of my information the placements are pretty decent..first the placements used to take place in Vellore campus but I guess jow they have started here as well ..as of my opinion the placement stars from the 7th semester
