The college management can be a bit of a pain sometimes but most of the times are helpful. Their stubborn in a lot of ways owing to backward system. The college needs to be update its curriculum otherwise is a fantastic college. The placement each year br

Internships Opportunities

One thing that NSIT can boast of is its internships and placements this year 8 people bagged jobs in Mountain view, google at a staggering pay of 1.25 crores. The internships students get are from amazon, flpkart, snapdeal, paytm amongst others in both technical and non technical field. Majority of students in coe and it streams get a package of upwards of 10 lakhs an annum.

Placement Experience

Google took 8 people this year at a package of 1.25 crores. Other companies include: Uber, Samsung, snapdeal, flipkart, paytm, micoroft, bain, facebook. Unfortunately we are not revealed the list of students placed and the money offered to them. The job fields were both technical and non technical.

College Events

The college boasts of three fests resonance: the intra college fest compromising of completions between different branches for the reso shield across dance drama and fashion show moksha the cultural fest of nsit which features international stars and bands performing along with many inter collefe teams coming for competition. Innovision: the technical and managerial fest of nsit which features events like robo war, case studies etc etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees is a mere 81,000 (approximate) for an year without the hostel. There are further discounts for people belonging to various other categories. The fees is very much feasible considering private colleges can be really really expensive compared to this. The fees is to be paid at the starting of each year in full amount. The hostel is a further 20 30k more.

The college offers scholarship to top 25% of the students based on their results in the exams. I don't have much knowledge about this though.

The alumni is very uself and often organize workshops with regards to various fields be it desinging, be it management or be it business management. The seniors are more helpful than teachers there is zero tolerance to ragging so that is out of contention the seniors help you get a better internship through their experience and are the best part of the college.

Course curriculum was evidently outdated and irrelevant to modern engineering challenges and could have severely disadvantaged students' learning outcomes. Although, interaction with seniors compensated this.

Here in Jamia the faculty is very experienced in their fields , they make you feel Engineering and not to just read books. there teaching methods are amog the top in the nation
the curriculum not just focus on your engineering but also focuses on your personality development.
the infrastructure itself gives you the feel of oldness and the reputation of the college.

one bad thing is its less availability of Hostel rooms .
there is a very strict rule of 75% attendance .

Placement Experience:

Placements at Jamia Millia Islamia are not too high or too low and depend on the branch. Students can apply for placements starting from their 7th semester. Big companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and some startups come to recruit. The average salary offered is between 7 to 8 lakhs per year, but there are not many students who get higher packages. About 40 to 60 percent of students get placed. Many students also work on getting into higher studies or look for jobs outside the campus after they finish their degree.

The professors in my college are very supportive

The Dream College Life

Likes

The campus is completely different from the whole city, it is more cleaner and is quiet peaceful with various different beautiful views at different points and is not too big so could easily walk through the campus.
Has really great architecture of the buildings and is surrounded by really intelligent people including some over the top profs and some really great minds from the country.
The night life is completely different and is one of the best part of staying in campus.

Dislikes

some of the hostels are quiet old and need renovation.

Placement Experience:

If you study passionately and have decent communication skills and some important competencies, I assure you that you will secure a position in a great company. Here at IIT Delhi, you earn what you work for; you can receive salary packages as high as 2 crores, but some offers start as low as 4 lakhs per annum.

From the end of third semester students are eligible for placement. Tcs, accenture, Deloitte,amazon, samsung etc. Highest package is 42 lakh offered by Amazon. Eighty to ninety percent student get placed . I want to work in faang companies right now .

Although the college is only 6 acres but it is well maintained
You can find various benefits in the college by joining different clubs
Faculties are passed from prestigious universities like IIT, IIM, MIT etc

College is not big so you can't explore In the college
There are no air conditioners in classrooms so It feels really hot in summers

I don't know much about placement because I don't want to sit in the placement drive of my college. Like I told earlier also that I have interest in electronics, so I want to do something in that field. NSUT- A rollercoaster but definitely must have experience.

The main reason for joining this college was proximity from my home. Another option was DTU but it had a 2 hour journey from my home whearas NSUT had 1 hour journey.
