Remarks

The eligibility for the course is to get a good cutoff in board exams like above 180. You can get application fees and application dates at the college website (www.gct.ac.in). I don't know about reservation benefits as I didn't avail them.

I chose this course because I like this course. And good salary package with 100% placement records in this course. The faculties are good and better in their own ways. The teaching methods are good. Passing the exams are easy if you listen the classes

From 6th semester students becomes eligible for placement. The placements records are here are very good. 100% placement records in information technology, computer science, department and with good placement records.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are many scholarships available for students mainly female students. Ex, Pragati scholarship, seimens scholarship, the foundation for an excellence scholarship, and many others. The financial assistance we get here is very good.

Campus Life

There are many clubs, sports clubs, dance clubs, music clubs, English literature clubs, and Tamil literature clubs, Sports are played like football, cricket, kabaddi, basketball, hockey, athlete, handball, Kho Kho, and many others. The campus Life is good.

the classrooms in specialization are air conditioned

the attendance is strict at 75% and subject attendances upto 80%
you cannot exit campus before 3.15 pm under any circumstances

The placements are very decent and they provide internships as early career opportunities as well in 3rd year of studies and the college possess high conversion rates through these internships which support the resume with actual corporate exposure

Likes

The college provides a friendly and supportive learning environment.

Here there is no gender separation like boys and girls should be seperate and stuff like that.
It is a autonomous college so courses are changing regularly with the shift in education
Here we have relative grading system therefore there is no ranking and easy to get good grades

Dislikes

We have to pay yearly fees not semester wise it difficult for low income earning families
Money is collected from students for all events happening in the college.
There is a rush for collection of fees at the start of each year and unpaid students might face absent issues

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are moderate but i don't know much about other courses but for civil engineering the average placed ctc is 3 lakh per annum one or two students got higer package but most of the students got lower package as a fresher.

Dislikes

High fees the government college but charging high fees making it difficult for students from lower income background to access quality education
often have limited seats dealing to intense competition and disappointment for some students
College provide only theoretical knowledge students for practical skills

It's like Schools .There will be special class if you didn't get much marks like schools .

Placement Experience:

From 5 th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placements. Lots of companies. The highest package is 26 lakhs and the average package is 1.5 lakhs. 98% of students get placed. Doing my best in a career as an entrepreneur.
