Remarks

According to the education system of 2021, there was no entrance exam for admission to DU. Admission was based on merit. Cut-offs were high and many subjects' cut-offs were closed after one. But now as there is CUCET for admission to DU.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

My majors are Psychology+ and HRM. The faculty is quite good and professional and they are very friendly and understanding. You can go to them for anything even if it is not related to studies they are always ready to help. The curriculum is quite old and the exams are not too hard to pass.

Internships Opportunities

4

Internships are provided by the college throughout the year for every position and course. They provide skills and an easy application process for students. Certificates and LOR are always provided by these internships.

Placement Experience

3

The placement cell of the college is very active. They provide placements for many courses at the end of the 3rd semester. The average package is also good. If you didn't get any placement then you can also apply to other colleges' placement cells or opt for higher studies.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees are not too high for many of the courses. Whereas BMMMC has the highest fees. Fee aid is provided to students who are not able to afford the fees. The placement cell of the college is very active and provides internships throughout the year.

Campus Life

4.5

The college is off campus but very close to the north campus and has a disciplined surrounding. The campus is beautiful and spacious. You can roam around anywhere and sit wherever you like. The infrastructure is good and beautiful. The main building is a heritage building and gives a beautiful vibe. Many societies are there to join clubs also. All those societies and clubs are very active.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The BA English Honours curriculum at DU SOL is relevant and provides a strong foundation in literature and language. The course covers diverse topics that support academic learning and critical thinking. The flexible structure is suitable for distance-learning students. Adding more practical activities, updated study materials, and interactive learning opportunities could further improve the overall course experience.

As a future law student philosophy was one of the options which was good to opt. Secondly, comparatively less people opt it and it can be one of the better choices if you are preparing for upsc and taking it as an optional. Teaching can be made more interactive as the topics are really interesting
