Remarks

It was done online mode on the basis of merit. Application forms, fees, and other details are available on the official website of the college. The official website is www.geu.ac.in The admission process is very seamless and easy.

Course Curriculum Overview

I was more interested in computer science and the college has a very good placement panel and placement record. It has a very good alumni network. The faculty-student ratio is also good. The teacher takes the timely tests and checks the progress of the student and also one thing I like the most is the teachers are very humble and they always clear your doubts no matter how you ask. There are mainly two major term exams apart from internal class tests and sessional tests. they are mid-term and end-term which are held after three months and at the end semester respectively.

Class Size: 78Course Fees: INR 310000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internships are made available just after or within the third year. Companies like Amazon offers SDE Intern, etc are offered but it depends on the student how studies and grabs the internship. Students' hard work will pay them off.

Placement Experience

Campus placement is pretty much good. The highest package was 54 lakh in Google, then 48 lakh in Adobe, and many more companies like amazon, Wipro, TCS, Accenture, Capgemini, Infosys, and many more which offer more than 1000 opportunities. The highest package was 54 lakh and the average package is 6 to 8 lakh. The percentage of placement is around 90 to 95 percent with students getting multiple offers. After getting my degree I wish to get a good salary job at a good company.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is a little bit high but students get scholarships based on their merit. for the 2022 batch, students' cutoff for CSE was around 90 percent. For those students who are a bit unable to arrange the fees, they are also provided with education loan facilities which is again a very seamless process. The hostel fee is around one lakh per annum.

Campus Life

The annual fest happens in the graphic era. It is a very grand fest called GRAFEST, many celebrities are also invited like previously Arijit Singh came. Many other fests like the summer fest held in June, the winter carnival held in December, etc are also organized. In these types of fests, celebrities are invited like in the summer fest this year Urvashi rautela and Chetan bhagat came. The college has two big libraries. One library is dedicated to CSE students. Many clubs are there in college like a literary club, ACM student chapter, IEEE club, singing club, and dancing club which from time to time held many events in which students take part and also get rewarded.

A Well-Rounded B.Tech Journey with Good Infrastructure, Supportive Faculty, and Growing Career Opportunities

Likes

Faculty members are generally qualified and approachable, and students can seek help with academics and projects.
students should supplement the university curriculum with industry certifications, coding practice, internships, GitHub projects and real-world development work.
There are cultural events, technical activities, clubs, sports and other extracurricular activities. Hostel students can participate fairly actively in campus events.

Dislikes

The main improvement I'd look for would be more advanced, industry-standard laboratory equipment and greater practical exposure.
I couldn't find a reliable current official university figure for the overall girls-to-boys ratio.
The ratio can also differ substantially between CSE, other engineering branches and the university as a whole.

Placement Experience:

Haridwar University provides regular campus-placement opportunities across IT, core engineering and other sectors. The university reports strong overall placement activity, but programme-wise salary and placement data are limited publicly, so students should ask for CSE-specific statistics before admission.

Likes

I like the college curriculum and study materials and teaching style of the teachers . Some teachers are impressive and their teaching style is too good .
Campus life is not much engaging but we usually spent our time in studying only . Also for attendance there is not much more criteria but some teachers are very strict in taking the attendance.
Faculties are full of experience and knowledge. They are approachable online and offline too but after the class.

Dislikes

I don't like the placement system in my college because the students studying in 2nd year do not get any exposure of placement . There is placement cell in our college but not very active .
Infrastructure is good but it should be spread in a more big acres . My wish was to get into IIT Kharagpur that's why I am asking for big campus .
Overall curriculum and research based approach of the campus is good. They just give projects to the seniors and seniors work is to dictate us about the project and helps us in building different types of project.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The main aspects that motivates me to choose this college is the GFTI'S colleges . Because my father suggest me that govt. Colleges seeks more companies that's why I choose this college . But truth is totally opposite from the reality. Real world application based projects is just given by the teachers in every semester but we students copy it and give it to them from the gpt. College timing should be more less we have to study from 10 am to 5 p.m. Timings of exams are of 3 hrs only in semester . Difficulty level is moderate.

Graduation- Best time of life.

Likes

The campus of the university is beyond beautiful and homely. Participation in college and university societies paves way for an all rounder development of the students. Facilities like CCF internet facility) is quite commendable.
Good Placements offered also encourage better future prospects. The library of the university is next level. Kisan mela held two times a year feels like another celebration for the university people.
Events held in the university with amazing artists offer exposure as well as a unique way to keep the entertainment alive amongst the youth.e

Dislikes

The hostel rules were rigid especially the entry timings of the girls hostel. The rigidity to take leave by getting it signed by various officials first had been an issue. Although, this was when i was graduating, things might have changed by now.
The stringent hostel rules were quite difficult to cope with. The strict checking at the university gates though might seem good as per the security but seem harsh sometimes.
Teaching methods could be made more progressive and technical with time paving way for more practical knowledge. Infrastructure could also be given a push.

Placement Experience:

In final year of btech companies start coming. Maximum students of CSE and IT get placed. Package is min. 3.2Lacs CTC. Both mass recruiters and startups take part in the placement drive. A good number of students get placed. But maximum students of our college opt for higher studies like appearing for GATE, GRE, CAT exams. Further students indulge in preparation for govt services like UPSC, Defence.
