The entrance Exam is JEE Mains. The cutoff for EE is 23 in 4th round. You can apply through Josaa only. I have no reservations. So I haven't any idea about the reservation. I think the admission process was smooth. The document verification is online.
Course Curriculum Overview
There is large scope for Electrical engineers in today's world. Better placements in EE. Student: Faculty ratio= 10:1 Faculty are well qualified with PHD and some are toppers of gate exam. There is a mid-term exam and end sem exam each semester.
Internships Opportunities
Internships are quite good. Students in the 5th sem are eligible for internships. Out of 600 approx 300 to 350 get internships with an average stipend of 40 to 45k. Companies like uber, AMEX, jp morgan, and Expedia visited the campus.
Placement Experience
Placements are quite good in the college. For internships students of the 5th sem can sit and for placements students of the 7th sem can sit. Several companies visited the campus like Microsoft uber, and intuit. There are 90% placements in the college.
Fees and Financial Aid
Academic and hostel fees are quite high I think. Every year approx there is a rise 10 per cent hike in academic fees. The cost of the study is approx. 6 to 7 lakh excluding hostel fees. There are several scholarships available like the EWS scholarship.
Campus Life
Life on the campus is quite cool. The annual fest is known as PECFEST which is the largest fest in north India. There are several clubs like the music club eic club and several editorial boards. There are various sports activities too.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facility is not up to the mark because the rooms are very small. There is a common room with a TV and table tennis and carrom board is available. Mess food is quite good. There are varieties of food and I can say the mess is very cheap in comparison to the hostel.
