Remarks

Admission was done based on marks obtained in board exams. One should score at least 80 percent in 12th to get into CSE core and if you have fewer marks percentage than 80 then you have to opt cse with specialization.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

CSE is in demand that's why I have chosen the CSE branch. There is a total of 1000 students in computer science engineering in 1st year and one section has 65 or 60 students. All the teachers have done their master's degrees. The teachers are quite helpful. For each subject, there are three teachers one for theory and two other teachers for practical classes. They talk in both Hindi and English languages and do their best to make students learn the subject easily they also ask students have they understood or not. I am in my first year. My medicine will start on the 14th of November and I have seen last year's paper. The purse has both hard easy and medium-level questions. Before midterm Graphic Era University conducts a class test of each subject and each practical. viva is also done before the midterm.

Class Size: 65Course Fees: INR 320000 per year

Placement Experience

3.5

From the 7th semester, students are eligible for campus placement. Their many companies M2 recruit students like Google, Microsoft, Infosys, Wipro, Asian paints, and many others. One of the students of CSE has got 53 lakh placement. There are a hundred percent placement rates. I mean all the students who seat for placement get the job opportunity of a minimum of 2 lacs to 53 lakhs. I have not decided what will I do whether I will join a company or get higher education after my B.Tech.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee can be paid on a yearly or half-yearly basis. If any student paid the amount on an early basis then he will get a discount of 10% on the fee. And if students Paid the amount on half yearly basis then they will get it discount of 5%. 320000 is the total fee for the first year. The scholarship is based on board marks.

Campus Life

3.5

University conducts an annual fest named graphist. It is likely to be held in December or January when top singers come. There are 2 libraries in the university and have an adequate amount of books and any student of the university can take the book. There are many extracurricular activities. Some groups are NSS, NCC, swaragini, etc.

A Well-Rounded B.Tech Journey with Good Infrastructure, Supportive Faculty, and Growing Career Opportunities

Likes

Faculty members are generally qualified and approachable, and students can seek help with academics and projects.
students should supplement the university curriculum with industry certifications, coding practice, internships, GitHub projects and real-world development work.
There are cultural events, technical activities, clubs, sports and other extracurricular activities. Hostel students can participate fairly actively in campus events.

Dislikes

The main improvement I'd look for would be more advanced, industry-standard laboratory equipment and greater practical exposure.
I couldn't find a reliable current official university figure for the overall girls-to-boys ratio.
The ratio can also differ substantially between CSE, other engineering branches and the university as a whole.

Placement Experience:

Haridwar University provides regular campus-placement opportunities across IT, core engineering and other sectors. The university reports strong overall placement activity, but programme-wise salary and placement data are limited publicly, so students should ask for CSE-specific statistics before admission.

Likes

I like the college curriculum and study materials and teaching style of the teachers . Some teachers are impressive and their teaching style is too good .
Campus life is not much engaging but we usually spent our time in studying only . Also for attendance there is not much more criteria but some teachers are very strict in taking the attendance.
Faculties are full of experience and knowledge. They are approachable online and offline too but after the class.

Dislikes

I don't like the placement system in my college because the students studying in 2nd year do not get any exposure of placement . There is placement cell in our college but not very active .
Infrastructure is good but it should be spread in a more big acres . My wish was to get into IIT Kharagpur that's why I am asking for big campus .
Overall curriculum and research based approach of the campus is good. They just give projects to the seniors and seniors work is to dictate us about the project and helps us in building different types of project.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The main aspects that motivates me to choose this college is the GFTI'S colleges . Because my father suggest me that govt. Colleges seeks more companies that's why I choose this college . But truth is totally opposite from the reality. Real world application based projects is just given by the teachers in every semester but we students copy it and give it to them from the gpt. College timing should be more less we have to study from 10 am to 5 p.m. Timings of exams are of 3 hrs only in semester . Difficulty level is moderate.

Graduation- Best time of life.

Likes

The campus of the university is beyond beautiful and homely. Participation in college and university societies paves way for an all rounder development of the students. Facilities like CCF internet facility) is quite commendable.
Good Placements offered also encourage better future prospects. The library of the university is next level. Kisan mela held two times a year feels like another celebration for the university people.
Events held in the university with amazing artists offer exposure as well as a unique way to keep the entertainment alive amongst the youth.e

Dislikes

The hostel rules were rigid especially the entry timings of the girls hostel. The rigidity to take leave by getting it signed by various officials first had been an issue. Although, this was when i was graduating, things might have changed by now.
The stringent hostel rules were quite difficult to cope with. The strict checking at the university gates though might seem good as per the security but seem harsh sometimes.
Teaching methods could be made more progressive and technical with time paving way for more practical knowledge. Infrastructure could also be given a push.

Placement Experience:

In final year of btech companies start coming. Maximum students of CSE and IT get placed. Package is min. 3.2Lacs CTC. Both mass recruiters and startups take part in the placement drive. A good number of students get placed. But maximum students of our college opt for higher studies like appearing for GATE, GRE, CAT exams. Further students indulge in preparation for govt services like UPSC, Defence.
