Anyone who studied math or accountancy as a subject in the senior secondary is eligible for admission in Bcom Hons. In BHU. In order to get admission you have to submit a cuet form available on cuetsamarth.ac.in, after application you have to appear in an exam with 1 domain (200) + math/account (200)+ general test(300). The passing mark is different for different categories of students but scoring 500+ is the safer side out of 700. Next, you have to apply in bhu website for counseling when you are allocated a seat you have to pay one-year fee for confirming seat.

I choose the course because I want to pursue my academics in finance and accounting. There are 285 regular seats in BCom hons and 10% more paid seats are allotted each year. The faculty is very beautiful, I bet you will see clean and green everywhere inside the campus and the staff is very supportive and friendly in nature. Every student focus on their career growth and professors help them to achieve it. The two semesters exam is held each year on time and passing the exam is not difficult if you focus on your academics. Some teachers are arrogant in nature but the majority of them are friendly and supportive you will see cleanness in your classroom with a silence environment. Bhu campus is 3 degrees Celsius less warm than the city. Campus Life is best with wifi and library facilities.

Internship offers are great in the faculty of commerce in companies like Microsoft, Oracle, uber, intel, etc. Students get roles like clerk, accountant, and trainee with 1.5 to 2 lakh per annum. Internship adds value and increases the weightage of your degree so many students like to enroll in it.

After completion of the course, students become eligible for campus placement, and companies like TCS and some bank firms join the placement cell. But the opportunity for BCom Hons in placement is very less. The highest package is 3.5 lakh per annum and the lowest is 1.5 lakh per annum, only 5 to 10 students got placed in campus placement. The majority of students go for higher studies like M.com or MBA or try to govt. Jobs.

The fee is simply 2182 per year and you will get a scholarship as well, the hostel facility is available for 2000 per year as rent and food charges are different, they are 40/per meal for normal, 60/per meal for special, and 80/meal for chicken. But nonveg food is not available in the girl hostel. The scholarship is 2k per year for a maximum of 100 students belonging to poor families. Internship opportunities are a great many good companies provide this opportunity to students with around 10k stipend. But campus placements are not so good for ug students and for pg campus placement offers are great for commerce faculty.

Campus Life is great in bhu you will find a cool and peaceful environment inside the campus. Bhu has many faculty so you will find every type of student from various subjects. Annual fest are conducted with competition and entertainment. Bhu central and ciber library are great and have many resources. Bhu has the biggest campus in Asia so sports opportunities are also great including swimming and table tennis ????. You can opt for any other subject for extracurricular activities. Mess food is value for money i.e. good in tests, the menu in food are seasonal vegetables, rice, pulses, chappati, eco salad, fish and chicken etc. You have to fill out the hostel form and submit it. Around 60 to 70 percent of students got hostels according to their merit and performance. If you want to live in rooms then chhittupur is the nearest locality for affordable rooms around 3k per month.
