Remarks

The candidates looking for admission into IIT MADRAS have to meet the qualifying as well as admission cutoff. Lakhs of students apply for JEE Advance and only 50k students are selected for IITs. the application form is available on the website NTA. They will announce the opening and closing date for the application and they have to pay some application fee. There is reservation is available for the students who belong to sc, st, and PWD candidates.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I chose this course because l am interested in design and I want to become the best designer in the world. In this course, we have highly qualified faculty and all of them are Ph.D. holders. I am feeling bad to say that the girl ratio compared to the boy ratio is very less. All the faculties are Ph.D. holders, and the teaching method is good. For every four months, there is an end semester it's not that much difficult to pass.

Class Size: 79Course Fees: INR 100000 per year

Internships Opportunities

4.5

In an Institute like IIT MADRAS, internship opportunities are so many available on the campus itself. Many companies come to the Institute to provide internship opportunities including Google, Microsoft, and Amazon.

Placement Experience

There is a great placement opportunity for the students who graduated from this institution. Around 350 companies visited this time they are including Microsoft, Amazon, and Flipkart. No. of offers made by the companies is 13000.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure for every student is not the same, it depends on their annual family income. Yes, there are many scholarship opportunities for students mainly for girls. Yes, they provide financial assistance, but we have to apply for it. Yes, there are campus jobs are available.

Campus Life

The campus life of a student is beautiful, there are many new places to explore on the campus itself. There is the best social life on campus and there is no gender bias boys and girls are treated in the same way. There are so many clubs on the campus itself. There are so many playing grounds on the campus.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

The best hostel life that I ever had before. There are providing free study tables and chairs and also Wi-Fi. The messy food is not that bad. The menu is nice and they are not feeding the same food repeatedly. The registration process for the hostel is easy and simple

Hostel Fee: INR 40000 per year

Dislikes

Campus is not very huge since it's in the centre of the city but the outside shops make up for this

Placement Experience:

From the very entry into your third year, you will be eligible to most of the placements. The training provided is very exquisite and some of the trainings start as early as 1st year. 2026 highest package was 55LPA. Many companies like from product companies like Microsoft, Capgemini to service based companies like TCS, INFOSYS etc.. visit our campus for regular placements. About 98% of people placed as far as I have heard.

A Good College Experience with Opportunities for Learning and Growth

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is fairly relevant and comprehensive, covering both theoretical concepts and practical applications. It provides a good foundation for technical knowledge, but including more industry-oriented projects, hands-on training, and updated technologies would make it even better for future career opportunities.

The Ultimate Real World Skill Learning Source : IITM BS Degree.

I didn't apply to any other colleges because I didn't find any better college which would give me such flexibility in terms of fee and course pace. I didn't applied so I didn't get rejected from anywhere. To get admission in my current college , I had to qualify a qualifier (entrance for this degree) exam which made me eligible for this exam. Only 12th class certificate was required which obviously I have with more than 60 % in maths. Cuttoffs are very easy to obtain. The cuttoff is according to category, for my catogery which is obc I had to obtain at least 40% marks but I get 82% marks and hence passed the qualifier and got the admission letter. Overall the admisssion process and experience was descent....Read More
