Honest review

First of all, you need to fill out the COMEDK form for admission. They conduct their own examination and declare the rank and own the basis of your rank branch is allotted. There are 3 rounds of counseling. To be eligible to fill the form you need 45 % in PCM. In my college, a few percent of seats are reserved for management and a few % for KCET students which is an examination conducted for Karnataka students only remaining for COMEDK.

I selected mechanical because I am passionate about mechanical engineering. Only a few colleges under COMEDK are good for mechanical engineering. If you select any circuit branch then for sure you will be placed. Teacher to student ratio is 1:5 Most of the faculty hold Ph.D. degrees and normally use conventional methods of teaching. In each semester we have minor exams and one final semester-end exam.

Companies like Atlassian is offering a job with paid internship. Most of the company offers paid internship. Apart from Atlassian Dover, IBM, and avg are offering internships before jobs. Most of the projects are based on the latest technology or innovation, we have 1 minor project in 6 semesters and 1 major in 8 semesters.

Campus placement is good in our college. From the 6th semester, you become eligible to sit in placements. Till now the highest pack is 39 Lakhs offered by Atlassian and the average is around 6 lakhs per annum. Companies like L&T, Daimler, Mercedes, Tata, Volvo, Boeing, Avg software, Dover, IEM, Wipro, Infosys, Intel, etc.

Fees structure is different for different modes of admission COMEDK students need to pay 2.3 lakhs per annum and KCET students need to pay 89k per annum. College does provide scholarship for KCET students.

Our annual fest is UDHBHAV and we have 3-4 technical fests every year, Month is not fixed. We have a good amount of books in our library. We have 4 libraries. Each class has a blackboard and a smart board with a projector. All types of sports are played on our campus and we have a separate department for that. There are many cultural and technical groups in our college like EDC and DECA.
