Remarks

You have to qualify JEE (Mains) exam and participate in JOSSA or CSAB counseling. JEE (Mains) is an all-India-based exam where almost 10 lakh students compete. It has 3 subjects Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. You have to achieve at least AIR 20000 to get into IIIT Kota (For the general category). The cut-off mostly varies around this rank.

Course Curriculum Overview

IIIT Kota has one of the finest curricula which is very placement friendly. DSA, OS, DBMS, Computer Networks, Communication, etc. are all important subjects that are taught with much care. To talk about the faculties, are very much friendly and helpful. There are 8 semesters and each semester has one midterm exam and one end-sem exam. To pass and get a good score on the exam you have to attend the lectures and study hard at least 1 or 2 weeks before the exam.

Internships Opportunities

Most companies visit our college and offer the role of SDE. Amazon, Microsoft, Adobe, Games Kraft, Swiggy, Yugabyte, and Nvidia these companies offer an internship with a stipend greater than 50k/month, and companies like Samsung, Gap, Paisa Bazar, etc. offers internship with stipend up to 50k/month.

Placement Experience

The 3rd year students are eligible for 2 months internship and the 4th year students are eligible for both 6 months internship and a full-time offer. IIIT Kota has good placement statistics. Last year the average package is of 15 LPA and the highest is 82 LPA(within India). Almost 90% of students are placed. Companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Adobe, TCS, Games Kraft, Yugabyte, GAP, Samsung, Swiggy, Juspay, Tekion, etc. come every year and hire lots of students.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees are a little bit higher than NIT because IIIT Kota is running in PPP mode. But there are many government and non-government scholarships to give financial assistance to needy students. On-campus placements are starting for the 7th-semester students.

Campus Life

IIIT Kota is currently running at MNIT Jaipur. Recently CACS body is formed for Annual Fest. Besides that, there are hostel days, sports events, etc. IIIT Kota has its library where you can avail yourself of types of books related to your curriculum. Lectures are attended in VLTC which has a projector-based smart classroom. Our college has taken part in Inter IIIT events, BOSM, IIT Jodhpur events, etc., and everywhere our team has won a lot of medals. Various clubs host various cultural events like Quiz, Treasure Hunt, Jamming Sessions, Open Mic, Marathon, etc. IIIT Kota's website is created by one of the alumni and every year webmasters are chosen from 3rd year who manages and maintain the website.

Hostel Facilities

There are 3 seaters, 2 seaters, and a single room and all rooms are of the same cost. The hostel is quite good. Water is available most of the time and in winter there is a facility for hot water. Mess food is pure veg, only 1 day in a week eggs are given. The taste of food is moderate. Hostel fees are very much cheaper.

Likes

the class timings are really flexible that is maximum 5 hours in a day
there are a lot of fun events in college every other day
the male to female ratio is approx 1:1 and both genders jam well with each other

Dislikes

the money factor i would say is one thing which doesnt add up if placements are considered
the freedom provided here might not be the best for everyone u need to have self control over yourself
people here can get too entitled and the pda inside might bother you but you will find your people

Course Curriculum Overview:

the cirriculum is designed in a way such that most of the outdated and uselss things are removed this year and the labs of each subjects help you well enough to dive deeper into the application of the subject . some areas for improvement can be removing unnecessary subjects like manufacturing process for cse students . main exams are held every 3 months and the difficulty is moderate

Practical Tech Education with a Tight-Kint Community Feel

Likes

I like my hostel, accommodation is very nice
mess food is very tasty , scrumptious and homelike
the college is surrounded by greenery and breath taking nature!

Dislikes

The scorching desert heatwaves in the summer and chilling winter smog make walking across the vast, vehicle-free campus exhausting for a big chunk of the academic year.
Mandatory interdisciplinary projects and strict attendance policies leave little breathing room for students wanting to focus strictly on self-driven coding, competitive exams or independent side projects.
The campus is situated far off the highway in the industrial backdrop of Neemrana, there is virtually no social or city life right outside the gates.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is industr-aligned with strong project-based learing and a mandatory final-year internship. Exams feature well-placed mid and end terms, though early theory subjects need more practical coding.

MY IMPRESSIONS ON THE UNIVERSITY OF FUTURE

Likes

The thing I liked the most is the nature around/in the campus.
The various options for sports and other outdoor activities.
The EAT system, which is better and healthier option for ACs.

Dislikes

A few meals on the mess menu are not that good.
Lack of normal-temperature water options.

Placement Experience:

NIIT UNIVERSITY placements rates are 100% and more important is that role fitment rate is also 100%. NIIT UNIVERSITY placements starts from 7th semister with Industry practice(IP). Many big companies come for the placements.

UNI OF FUTURE

Likes

Exposure via many known guests and personalities and experts of various fees that interact and share their opinion regarding many things with students.
Many clubs like shooting ,football,chess that are taken seriously here along with facilities for each of these sports
Opportunity to become volunteer for various fests organizing groups.

Dislikes

Water here is harsh in hostel, which causes a bit of hair fall.
Except for rooms and academic blocks heat during afternoon times is great if there are no clouds sometimes. Rest of times due to many trees its cool.
Strict gatepass system which ensures security of students but at same time troublesome for those who just wanna roam .

Placement Experience:

There are many exceptions here regarding placements and employbility. For interships students mainly start from their 3rd year but i know one student which is my senior that got an intership in their second year only since they had specific skills and colledge helped developing thier leadership quality and getting them the job

Journey in Few Words

Likes

The place is not only promoting studies they are also promoting the Talent by organising various events where they learn and develop other skills.
The Girls to Boy ration is good - 40:60.
The campus is also fine not very premium not very bad. If you're a good place in budget constraints you can opt for this.

Dislikes

They are little focused more towards money. for example when there is attendance less than 75% still if Student pay the fees they allow him to sit in exam.
Teachers can be more better. My experience with the staff is not very amazing. A lot of time i corrected some the teachers for certain topics

Placement Experience:

- Here the placements starts in the beginning of the 4 year. Campus placements are offered and it's not bad. Even we'll get some internship opportunities in 4 year before college ends - In my year the highest package is 14LPA in Mahindra

Compus of my college is good and also structure

Dislikes

Girl over boy ratio is very less which also put impact on interaction with another gender
Teaching techniques of over faculty in my college the just scroll the pdf and tell about topics
Result delay is very common problem in my college

Placement Experience:

Form 5 th semester students become eligible for compus placement. Tcs , wipro ,infosys, jk cement, wonder cement these companies visited and they provide average package 4 to 5 lack per year. Through past record highest package is around 33 lack and average package 4 to 5 lack per year Minimum percentage for Good company is 7 cgpa . My plan after getting The degree is i go for masters in technology

Likes

College infrastructure is very good as compared to other colleges
There are sports ground with good facilities

Overall the campus is good but is very small in size
Less events as compared to other colleges
Focuses on marks rather then practical knowledge

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is well structured and designed for students to learn the subject in detail and to know about topics in detail and make sure to understand things clearly before implementing them in real life. There are certain areas for improvement but they will keep get better. Timetable should be made such that students get break in between the classes so that they can be less exhausted throughout the day

What is appreciated about college is their focus on academics not every private college focus on academics but they do and it's great if we compare to other private colleges.
The placements aren't that good but they try hard to get you placed so yes the companies do visit the most visiting companies are celebal,tcs
The campus is just fine it have different blocks for first year and others also have two garden to hangout and a basket ball court.

Dislikes

There isn't a very good college life like as I said they are mainly focusing on academics so events aren't that good as they can be
Campus isn't big enough so you barely get any place to roam around with your friends
Placement aren't very high it's around 5lakh ctc which is low

Placement Experience:

The placements cell try their best to get as many students placed as they can.many companies visit us including celebal, tcs and I don't know about the percentage but it's pretty good not everyone will get the placement but yes who have time to their studies will definitely get one.the average package is around 5lakh per anum ctc it can go upto 25 to 30.lakh based on your knowledge entirely

An overview of MNIT

Likes

Being a Government national college, the diversity is very vast and it helps us understand about the different communities and cultures.
The college provides very educated professors who help you achieve your passion and enhance your vision. They provide information regarding the books you could refer which usually doesn’t happen in other colleges or universities.
The college assigns a group of 10 students to a particular mentor who guides you not only through technical vision but also in the mental health of the student.

Dislikes

Being a south indian, I wasn’t fluent in hindi. This made a hinderence to my study life. But the professors started explaining each class in english later on after my request
The less number of placements could be an issue
The end time for girls is 10pm which is according to me a decent timing. But I think they should atleast let the parcels come past the college main gate after 10. Because the boys can collect it from there but the girls cannot.

Placement Experience:

There are campus placements provided by the college. Students shall be adopting for placements in their final years. The visited companies are Apple, JP Morgan, Meesho, DE Shaw, Salesforce, Adobe, Airtel, Amazon, Bajaj motors and so on. Highest salary id 64LPA, average is 18.39LPA for the CSE branch. The overall percentage of students getting placed is 82% for both BTech and BArch with an average package of 13.2LPA. I shall be trying to get placed.

Affordable price for B. Tech courses in city
Support of the sinears in the college in notes and study
Environ of the college is very good and clear

Dislikes

College building which to old and second floor always leaking in rainy days.
Teachers of second year are not interested in teaching subjects.
Wifi of the college never works even it can't run WhatsApp

Placement Experience:

Placements are good in textile department because college is known for textile best college in Rajasthan that's why IT ,CSE ,ME,ECE are not getting that much pakage but recieves 4 lakhs average and if sumone not get job they can try of campus mostly try of campus.

SUMMARY ABOUT IIIT KOTA

i applied for IIIT BHOPAL, IIIT RANCHI, IIIT PUNE, IIITSONIPAT, MNIT JAIPUR, NITK SURTHAKAL, NIT TRICHY, NIT AGARTALA, NIT SILCHAR, NIT DELHI i was getting admission in almost every college but i wanted CSE so i cound'nt go to NIT TRICHY, NITK SURTHAKAL, MNIT JAIPUR, NIT SILCHAR and NIT DELHI since i was not getting CSE in any of these colleges and i didn't want to settle for lower core branches i was CSE in IIIT BHOPAL IIIT SONIPAT but there's no hostel facility so i skipped them i was getting CSE in NIT AGARTALA but i didn't want to go so far away from home in northeast IIIT KOTA had better placement stats than IIIT RANCHI and PUNE so i chose it over them. i faced rejection from multiple college but it was based on my JEE rank. My college take admission only on the basis of JEE and GATE score it's about 98% in jee mains for CSE with GEN category and 97% for ECE and same for AIDE branch there are not much M.TECH students in the college since there's only one specialization there's no exam other than JEE and GATE to get admission in this college...Read More

Review of IIIT Kota

First of all i applied for this college for the electronics branch that i want and this college provides and for to take the admission in this college you have to give the jee mains exams on the basis of that u will get this college. So sccording to my rank i get this only although i have applied for the other collegs also but didnt get into them because of their cut offs. And another factor is that i choose it because i from rajasthan and this college is also present in this state. Learning as Intern

I have attended the JOSSA counciling 2024, I was getting lower branches in western and southern NITs and other top government IIITs and enginnering colleges, but fortunately IIIT Kota has launched Artifical intelligience and Data engineering cource this year and I got it. I am the native of kota rajasthan and was willing to choose best engineering college near by me under my rank. I was rejected by several engineering colleges in jossa counciling, but at last the two choises were left the RTU and IIIT Kota. The RTU was a govt college and famous in kota, but it doesn't offers much packages, placements and outstanding batchmates, but IIIT Kota does. For getting best engineering college around the country students have to give Joint Entrance Exam called JEE, general/obs/ews candidates sholud secure 75% marks while sc/st students should secure 65% marks in 12th standard for sitting in this exam.
