Course Curriculum Overview

There are so many job opportunities in this course so I choose this course There are 60 students in the class and have 4 subjects per semester and 4 faculties The faculties are highly qualified and the teaching method is good There are 4 exams in a year 2 semesters and 2 internals

After 5th sem students become eligible for campus placement The companies are - TCS, WIPRO, COGNIZANT, INFOSYS, IBM, AMAZON, TECH-MAHINDRA,ETC 15 companies are visiting and approximately 45 students are got placed 80% of students got placed I will join a tech company as a manager post

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is like 40k per annum and 2lakhs for 5 years. There are so many scholarships is provided by the University in the state scholarship portal University provides campus placement. companies like TCS, and Wipro, are coming for hiring.

Campus Life

Evolve is our annual fest it is conducted in December of every year The YMCA department has its personal library where books are issued The classrooms are good wifi is available We have 2 grounds like Biju pattnayak stadium and lifeline ground

Hostel Facilities

There are 2 beds for one room where 2 students can easily reside and also have wifi facilities Subash canteen meals are good Hostel addmission is done on a merit cum distance basis. There are rented rooms and PG are also available in Vss Nagar and saheed Nagar

Hostel Fee: INR 6500 per year

The best and detailed review

Placement Experience:

As Rourkela is a tier 3 city the placement opportunities are no as much as the tier 1 cities but the college still provides placements oppertunities with a decent amount of starting package of 4LPA.The college brings alot of companies for job and intership through it's long and good establishment in the city. The students becomes eligible for campus placement from 5th semester onwards as they have enough projects. Infosys, Capgemini,Dalmia,etc companies visited and highest package was 4.5 Lpa and average was 4lpa with 2 lpa as the lowest. Getting a MCA degree afterwards is most preferable for getting a better job.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course I choose because of I want to be a software developer and I like the course. The curriculum prepare me for real world application. The software and IT industry are the improvement lines of doing this course.

After 4 semesters students are eligible for placements. No such give company came to college, only a few companies which provide only 2lakhs per annum packages. Only a few get placements. My plan is to pursue higher study after.

Placement Experience:

From the 5th semester, you got eligible for placements. There are a lot of companies visited reliance is one of them. They recruit well-knowledged and smart students. There is an average salary of Rs. 3.5lacs is offered according to your course. An average of 50% of students gets placements. I want to become a software engineer after getting the degree.

Remarks:

I am doing my distant BCA from Sambalpur University with my going job. The university experience is quite fun and hardworking, as the course wasn't much easy and I had to work hard to clear examinations. The good support of teachers also helps me keep going.
